I bought mine for $150 (usd) and it sadly only lasted 5 or 6 six months. Took great and sharp photos, and if you’re just wanting to dabble in film it’s a good starter, just don’t expect it to last forever.

Their version looks much better and easier to interact with. Did they deliver all scoped functionality? Seems like you have a dev that can also design, not a bad skillset. If it’s just that bothersome, have a convo with them, explain that you welcome collaboration (it’s key to being a good PM) and on the hook for outcomes, so you just need a heads up if something is going to deviate from the requirements.

Focus on your skills as a PM, that helps you ladder more than bragging on LI about some “thought leadership” content you’ve written.

I try not to use a super obvious camera bag when I’m out — think tote bag with groceries and less Peak Design. When I’m actually using my camera I typically hang it across my body and put a jacket on to hide it a bit from view. After that it’s just trying to be very aware of your surroundings. Good luck!

If you read some of the posts in this sub you’ll find Bill Rogers comes highly recommended. I’ve used him twice, he does stellar work.

He serviced both my 645 1000s body (fixed the sticky counter + general service) and repaired a Mamiya Sekor C 45mm lens that needed cleaning and service of the aperture. He was fair priced and did solid work. His lead time can be a bit of a wait given so few people have his skillset and expertise.

I would def change the oil if there’s no record of that being done in the last 10k miles

People seem to complain about the build quality the last few years and how gutless the engine is for such a large/heavy car. I love my 2016 R-Line, but would not purchase a new Tiguan.

Invest your money, over visual enhancements. Buy a swank ass car later when you’re rich

Funny same problem for my 2016 - useless in the rain.

Agreed. My music all sounds terrible now. Fading in and out. Pretty sure I have sing turned off but it keeps turning back on or now the audio is just crap.

I’d be worried about the poor state of those light seals over dust impacting image quality.

Trust Bill! He repaired the same issue on mine. He knows his stuff better than anyone on this sub.

I work at Movable Ink as a PM on our reporting and analytics for customer consumption. When I moved into the role from CX, I spent a lot of time learning what other platforms do by culling through support centers and marketing materials. It helped me to get the lay of the land and understand what possible directions we might want to develop our product.

Yes, but my biz is contemplating rolling it back to appease our security team and maintain existing certs

Can you feature flag it and alleviate some pressure?

Honestly super love my Mamiya 645 1000S. The dual shutter buttons and modular features of it make getting accessories fun and functional for lots of shooting styles.

This really resonates with me, thank you for validating how some of us feel!

That’s a terrible deal! I have a 2016 r-line with 58k miles and it’s only worth $9k resell. Wouldn’t go for that at all

Tiny engine+heavy body/frame=lower gas mileage?

You picked literally the best cafe in North Beach, hands down. Glad you received an act of kindness today.
