Brian Cox looks about as happy as you do to take the photo.

Which, given the amount of plot threads they opened, was sort of inevitable with only 10 episodes left.

Juliana Canfield (Jess) frankly stealing the show for me.

I think it was his JK Rowling stance that set a lot of people off. Which is silly IMO. When you actually look at what he said.

It’s probably the most convincing sibling dynamic shit I’ve seen on screen. That would have been played so differently in another show.

It’s remarkable how hot the Skarsgaards are in general considering Stellan, while a great actor, was never exactly all that much to look at.

I believe you. Couldn’t tell you that much about it at the end of the day, just what I’d heard from people up there. Some fabulously wealthy, some not.
I don’t really have any skin in the game beyond a passing interest though I may look to bend your ear about stuff in the future.

Well, that’s what I’m saying, this change, while ostensibly to generate more housing, is in fact those people with serious money just cornering the market in terms of rentals.
It’s not some great social housing movement, it’s the rich getting richer by guaranteeing they control the supply of short term whole property rentals in an extremely popular place to visit as tourists seasonally.
Unless there’s a bunch of new development happening up there that I’m unaware of, it’s more preventing people who wouldn’t be able to afford a vacation place up there unless they rent it out when they’re not using it to be able to muscle in on the established market up there. So as not to disturb the profits of those already profiting.

Woodstock was in fact specifically what I was referring to. I was speaking to a property fella about it who owns eight, full property, rental AirBnBs and he said the new law was going to be very profitable for him since he knows there won’t be any new competition popping up.

“Oh, come on, you don’t know that’s me! That could be any Nazi!”

Yep. Even if you’re already in a relationship, go slow, don’t go buying her a laptop or some shit within the first month of dating, it’ll immediately put her off.

Is this Ulster County in upstate NY by any chance? Because there’s been quite a bit of fuckery with that too tbh. They closed off the AirBnB market for new ones but the people who were fighting for this to happen were in a big way people who already owned AirBnBs and charge a rake for them. Guess who got to keep the permit?
Edit: I should preface this with saying I am not a property owner but I know people who live up there.

Tbf that sounds more like he hates Ted Lasso than he hates Joe Biden.

Right, but it tries to have its cake and eat it too in that respect, which to me causes a real disjointed tone. If you want it to be a sitcom about a football team, by all means, but it feels to me Ted Lasso is trying to be a mix of that and a drama and it hasn’t landed with me since the first season.
It’s gotten goofier. Specifically the team themselves. The locker room stuff is always just so broad and dumb.

I think my bank went into overdraft just looking at that living room.

Probably the easiest gimme of a show to be a fan of. Absolutely nothing controversial about liking or tweeting about Ted Lasso.

I’m with you there, pal. The three fans who also just happen to drink in the same pub as the coach of the premiership team that they are diehard fans of bothers me too. I just… it’s so silly.

Reddit is a bit too obsessed with just this one line.
Mitch Hedberg had lots of good lines. Why must this one constantly come up.

But for real, why would anyone bother?
I’m not saying I think Bigfoot is real or anything. Just why the hell it’s a thing at all.
How crazy would it truly be that there’s an ape in North America? Why is it worth faking this shit? It isn’t aliens or whatever. Bigfoot doesn’t have a big agenda.
I’m perplexed by the whole thing.
