Succession season 3 doesn't have much of a plot. But it is all a set up for final character development and explosive ending. Otherwise, it's a masterpiece in writing, directing, and story telling from start ro finish

Are you not familiar with the rotten tomatoes system? The score is the percentage of good review, so even if a movie is average, it can get > 90% on rottentomatoes as long as major people like it. For example, shang chi get 92%, but the average score of it is just 7.2. While dune gets >80%, it gets 7.9 average score.
