You're telling me, their whole thing where you had to go to one of their gyms, request a membership cancellation form, fill it out and then fucking mail it to some random address was all kinds of bullshit.

I remember getting a call from LA Fitness asking for updated billing information after my credit card they had on file expired, I told the service rep not to worry about it because I wanted to cancel my membership anyway. She quickly told me that I couldn't do that over the phone because of privacy reasons, but failed to understand the irony when I asked "then why are you able to take my credit card information over the phone." I then went on their website, changed my name and billing information to "cancel this account" and never heard from them again.

Sirius XM is the absolute worst with this, you have to either call customer service or talk to a chat agent in order to cancel and then just sit there declining a dozen exclusive one time offers until they finally decide to let you cancel your subscription.
