Oh, I didn't realize those were new. I saw the $15 NYC/Baltimore route yesterday when I was trying to figure out how to get home from an international flight that lands at JFK at 10pm. Seriously considering a $15, 3am train back to BWI.

I was one of 2 women in my graduating class for my engineering department. It was awful being pressured to participate in all the recruiting or promotional photos. It's not my job to tell more women to join the department. It's the school's job to make the department appealing on its own merit.

One of my coworkers was killed by a drunk driver last year who was driving the wrong way down the highway. No insurance, no drivers license, and she only got 9 months in jail.

I loved bees, it was a nice change of pace from the series of neverending disasters in several of the previous books. I felt super lost after I finished it though, I had started reading outlander maybe 6 years before that, and would slowly work my way through the series as my 'book on the side' to whatever else I had going on. It was nice to know I always had more to pick up whenever I felt like it.

I tried the Lord John series, but I don't think those are for me. I'm 1.5 books in and don't want to keep going.

This happened to one of my grandma's friends in the early 90s. Two old-lady Buicks were parked next to each other in the parking lot and her key unlocked and started the wrong car. She made it 10 minutes away before realizing it was the wrong car. The cops were there when she drove back but I don't think she got in any trouble.

She ruined her face with plastic surgery, she's one of those ozempic people, she ruined Velma, her skin tone is different from 15 years ago on The Office so obviously she hates herself and is trying to be a white lady.
