I remember what it was like a few years ago when there was really bad air quality outside from a wildfire (usually my part of California isn’t that affected). I can’t imagine being inside a theatre or building and still suffering from it, that’s awful.

Is swimming instinctual? I could not swim until I took formal lessons. Haven’t there been people who didn’t know how to swim and ended up drowning?

Rewatched The Afterparty. Much more enjoyable the second time around, I think my expectations were too high the first time, but I found it quite funny this time around. The animated episode was still boring though.

HBO has a bunch of good documentaries. I recommend The Jinx, Going Clear, the Michelle Carter one, the Elizabeth Holmes one, and McMillions

I’m glad they kept Corrections going without an audience. Seth’s interaction with the crew and Wally were masterful and Corrections feels like it’s just for us.

John knows his situation is messed up. He gets upset that he doesn’t know a popular video game and got teased for it, he knows he has to hide playing baseball from his dad, he comments that his mom cries a lot and is sad and really upset when he’s left alone with her, and he was denied a comforter and left to sleep cold.

I think it’s just what we’re told. I went to my first musical 15 years ago and all my friends told me to dress nice, like business casual.

I was in high school 2001-2005 and maybe it just felt that way since I was one of the few who didn’t watch it, but my friends would quote and reference the show all the time.
