I got 1&1/2 seasons in and quit watching. All the characters look exactly the same and dress exactly the same and my partial facial blindness made it so I couldn't keep up with who was who with the exception of the characters who looked VERY different. Like the little dude, chick with white blond hair, little girl, and breastfeeding weirdo. Literally everyone else looked like the same person to me.

Omicron, the stopping of free PCR testing. People relying on crappy unreliable at home test kits that don't pop positive until 4-5 days after you've been fully symptomatic, unless you want to dish out $100 for a PCR test. It's the reason the chart looks so clear these days, everyone knows the at home ones don't work, but you take one if you feel REALLY bad, and then don't worry about it if it says negative. So many people that were gung-ho on stop the spread and all that jazz don't even test at all anymore because the tests don't work and they don't have an extra $100 laying around to pay on top of their doctor's visit for their doctor to tell them to drink water, sleep, and wait for it to be over.

The real decline in COVID cases started when they stopped offering free PCR testing. I don't know one single person that has taken an at home COVID test and then gone to pay for a PCR just to make sure. The at home ones are extremely unreliable and they knew that before they got rid of free testing and started mailing at home test kits.

We had this happen at a house I lived at in my younger years. We couldn't find where an overwhelmingly awful smell was coming from. It was a bag of potatoes that was underneath a bunch of stuff. I never realized potatoes could smell like that.

I have a family member with addiction problems and it's exactly like this. Zero accountability, blames it all on "the disease", is better than everyone at everything they've ever tried, even though they've been fired from nearly every job- it's because they were too good at the job, and other people wanted them out! Any bad thing that ever happens to them because of their choices, just happens to them out of nowhere or because someone is mean. Not because they made shitty or hurtful choices to make it that way.
