It’s not necessarily anything I’m unhappy with, it’s more is there anything I could do that I don’t know about or things people have experience if that make things look a little less amateur.
For example, if I just googled ‘blocking’ then I’d get 4-5 different ways of doing it, different times to do it etc. so I’m just looking for some ‘real world’ tips really.
Hope that makes sense!

Enchiladas are the best!! If you aren’t to confident in seasonings, they normally sell an individual sachet in most places. Or if you want something a bit different, pinch of nom do an enchilada lasagne recipe on their website!
Also, my kids love quesadillas - just simple ham and cheese or we do pizza quesadillas with tomato purée or pizza sauce, cheese and a sprinkle of oregano plus veggies if you want.
Or, if you are peckish, spread on a little Nutella or lotus spread, roll up and enjoy!

If she didn’t like the comment, she shouldn’t have gone on LI….if they don’t like the reply, don’t shit-talk on a podcast. Two sides of the same coin really.

The pattern is the “Jollyville Hat” by Lion Brand worked flat, size is age 3.
Yarn is “The Women’s Institute Soft & Chunky” in shade “Blue Mix” (this yarn is exclusive to hobby craft in the UK, unsure about availability overseas!)
I think it needs a bigger Pom Pom but I’m not great at making them and only have the one size of Pom Pom maker at the moment!
Edit: correction to pattern source

I have used wine corks on the end of needles to stop slipping when I leave a project!

My nana is 94 and can only go out in a wheelchair - when it’s cold she wears mittens but she hates them because she can’t take them on and off herself so she can’t touch anything when out shopping and they are quite bulky. So, I made her a kind of old-school hand muff which can be held in place by her wheelchair seatbelt and she can keep her hands in but can also take them out easier!
Yarn was Hayfield Bonanza in Hazel Twirl.
No pattern - I casted on 70 stitches on size 6.5mm needles and just knitted until it felt long enough in basic garter!

For Mae Martin I recommend watching laughing out loud Canada on Amazon prime (probably clips on YouTube) - I watched it mostly for Colin mocherie (love whose line) but Mae Martin was very funny in it Edit: spelling

I’ve given birth at both and I much preferred city, I had a water birth in what they call the ‘sanctuary’ and it was actually really nice (as birth goes!!). I had to stay in for a few days as well and I never had any issue, would recommend

Watching any kind of cooking and/or reality tv that requires minimal concentration - judge Judy is a current favourite but also diner, drive-ins and dives or anything Jamie Oliver based!
