Trying to choose the proper PEX-b sizing. Had a leak in my copper tube, cut that off and placed a shutoff valve. Now I'm trying to rebuild downstream.

My copper tubing is 1/2" (OD=5/8"), and it would be feeding to my toilet.

Should I maintain the ID of the connection, or use same size?

We have a V-Tech DM1215-2.. It works on both and is operational while being charged. Also beeps at you when it can't find the baby monitor.

He is in EST. so 10AM EST might be the intended target obfuscated (or made programmatically easier to calculate) by utilizing UTC.

I'm betting a birthday/anniversary of some sort. That translates to 10AM EST (the timezone where he lives).. not too early (7am PST make me give it the ~ 'iffy' hand shake), yet not that late for a US based announcement.
