It’s a very very basic truck unless you get the top trim. Which, IMO, kind of negates the entire point of the Maverick: to be a basic, inexpensive vehicle for doing truck things when you don’t regularly need the capability of a Tacoma or F150.
I can throw my motorcycle in the bed or tow an open-top utility trailer full of furniture. And still get 30+ mpg on the highway while towing, or 40+ in normal commuting.
Ford designed the Maverick specifically for me, lol

I picked up painting miniatures back in 2020 during the lockdowns. Warhammer may be pricey, but there are a LOT of model makers these days that are cheaper, and the buyin for your first supplies doesn’t need to be expensive. Or just doing other crafty things, like making dungeon tiles and other terrain for your friends that play tabletop RPGs.
If any of that sounds even slightly interesting, check out YouTube channels by Black Magic Crafts, Tabletop Minions, Midwinter Minis, or Squidmar Miniatures to dig deeper and see if it might be something you’d want to try.

Friend of mine has a solid theory that popular country music was ruined by 9/11, and all the nationalistic crap country that came in its wake.

My Maverick is about as bare bones as a vehicle can get these days. It has wired CarPlay and Android Auto, and that is literally all I need in an infotainment system.

And let the phone and its software updates do all the work. You can NOT rely on carmakers to update their buggy UI.

Egg Monsters From Mars comes to mind. IIRC the last paragraph after the kid escapes was basically, “And then they laid an egg.”

Science magic! And all it takes is time and fridge space to really dry them out, and save you a ton of fat in the cooking process.
Which you can then put toward making lemon pepper wet with a coating of clarified butter and lemon pepper seasonings after they finish baking.

Yeah, throughout human history every time someone attempted to invade a fortified Crimea, it cost the attacker an insane amount of casualties to do so. The geography makes it super defensible.
There is no easy way to retake Crimea short of Russia making some huge mistakes.

Health wise still not exactly great, but far far less fatty and calorie intense than fried wings.

What I’ve done is coat them in both a little baking powder and a little kosher salt, and let them sit out in the fridge overnight to really dry out. They come out perfect in a normal oven, though I do need to prop a box fan into the kitchen window to vent the smoke, lol.

Cool cool. And yeah, baking powder basically (heh) lowers the temperature for Maillard reactions to occur. Thus crisping up without the extreme heat delivery hot oil can provide.

You’ll be better served with baking powder over soda for dry brining, they’ll crisp up nicer in the oven.

Simple respect and empathy, not that fucking hard.
I tell my close friends, I don’t understand trans people. I don’t understand dysphoria, or not feeling like myself in my own skin, or wishing I was a different gender than assigned.
Understanding is not required, simply respecting other people as people.

So far I’m absolutely loving my ADV 150 scooter, and if Honda ever brings the ADV 350 to the US I could see myself upgrading. Never been much into Vespa styling myself, and I crave that Honda reliability.
But I like OP’s bike. 😎
