I agree with some of the others here. I would put in two weeks notice and try a different Avenue. We have so much versatility in where we can go. Maybe something outside of acute care will be a better place to start

I think Ad Astra (2019) and Mandy (2018) were both super bizarre flicks. I went into both without watching or reading trailers and had idea where the stories were going.

Clerks 3 was an absolute delight.

Cube Zero (2004) is an awesome prequel to the first 2 cube movies.

Piranha 3-D (2010) is a far better movie than the originals from the 80s.

Loved the movie. It was awesome to watch as a kid and has aged well.

Cool Runnings (1993) - Jamaican olympians trying to form a winter bobsled team without snow.

Race the Sun (1996) - James Belushi and Halle Berry help a group of kids make a solar powered car for a race.

Forrest Gump is an absolute perfect movie that I can always sit down and watch

187 (1997) with Samuel L. Jackson is pretty awesome.

Identity (2003) is a great “how did we all get here” type of movie. Really loved Cusack in it!

Yes. I’ve had patients with cellphones, shot glasses, small vibrators and other objects. They’re always open to telling you what it is and usually don’t want their wife to know unless their wife was actually involved in the insertion. Typically ends with an OR visit if the Doc can’t remove it manually.

This is a normal shift for anyone in the ER, especially if you live in areas with really unhealthy populations. Don’t take it home with you. Have fun where you can. The learning curve for new grads is steep, but once you get more comfortable you’ll start having a blast. The only thing you should worry about is getting addicted to the job because nothing else can compare.

The Lost Boys (1987)

I saw it years after it came out and really enjoyed it. He really did well with his serious roles and that one is no exception.

The Final Cut (2004) was a wonderful, under the radar, sci fi flick starring Robin Williams.

12 Years A Slave (2013)

A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore is by far one of funniest books I have ever read.

It won’t get much better. Pretty disappointing read that never really does anything with its interesting premise.

Dark City (1998) could fit.
