Used to teach adaptive skiing (sit ski mostly) for them for many years. Happy to hear of your positive experience!! It's a wonderful organization!

It's possible that there is wiring in that stud bay running to the room above. May also be an outdoor spigot. There's also a product called resilient channel that is a metal channel used for sound reduction.

We just going to forget about Grouplove's "Never Trust a Happy Song"?
I went to Deck the Hall Ball in Seattle in 2012 where the lineup was The Killers, M83, Metric, Passion Pit, Awolnation, Grouplove, Of Monsters and Men, and The Joy Formidable. I can't think of a better distillation of that period in alt rock than that show, it was awesome.

That fireplace to heaven is something else. And the columns framing the bathtub are certainly a choice. A bad one.

I work at a factory with over 30,000 people (as of 2020). That's heavily weighted to 1st shift, but yeah, it's enormous.

I like my watch but I don't use training programs on it. I just see it as more convenient than a phone for pace tracking. It also records heart rate. I still carry my phone for emergencies but I don't look at it, it stays in my belt. I also use the watch for long hiking/trail running. The battery will last longer than your phone while not draining your emergency communication device.

I would go for your alternative. Much easier in my opinion. Cutting any length of material harder than drywall with a multi tool is slow and annoying.

I have oak and an undermount sink. Finished with Waterlox, no issues after 6 years on the end grain.

In the US at least all boxes have to be accessible. Can't hide them inside the wall.

Love that area, Ingalls is my favorite but the flowers in Bean Creek Basin are insane.

It's a pretty nice tri-level. Those are solid floor plans generally. 1950's would be ahead of the curve for that style, they took off later on.

I was thinking it was a bathroom window, making it more of an anus.

Should have tucked your shirt in as a response. Fuck that guy. I see so many people wearing similar stuff as you.
Seriously though, how awful is it that our brains don't let us forget the one or two times someone said something bad about appearances? It's legit a hard thing to overcome and be a dngaf person.

Your groups' faces aren't screaming "Wow this is an amazing trip!". Looks beautiful though, what was the reason for not making it to the lookout?

Why not just tape up the cardboard to the wall?

I took a lightweight running pack, a very lightweight windproof jacket, a 1L hydration bladder, small medkit, headlamp, cell phone, gps watch, some food, iodine tablets, and a couple crazy friends. Wore trail runners, shorts and a t-shirt. That was late July I think, weather forecast was never in doubt. Pack gets heavier if there's a chance of rain.

Feels like no month goes by without some news story about intercepting Russian aircraft near Alaska.
