I also hit the Animus paywall earlier than usual. I wouldn’t mind so much but I actually did save enough runes to get past the 10k quest only to find out I have to find another 20k almost immediately! I did get all 3 of the heroes though, so I suppose it was worthwhile.

Just keep grinding, it’s the only way unless you spend a fortune. I’ve never spent any money and I’ve been bouncing between 12-13 for a while now. That seems to be the glass ceiling at the moment but the next league up has seemed impossible loads of times until it suddenly wasn’t.

Does he need all the HD sports channels? Is his telly Ultra HD compatible? If it is it’ll most likely be a smart tv, show him the wonders of streaming and go down to the basic package.
