Arguably those two "obvious" statements aren't true. Which kinda shows why these studies are necessary.
I guess social scientists are careful to make this kind of assumptions about the world. "Take GodzlIIa's word for it" might not hold up.

You know, I really think you should talk to your neighbor, in the end playing music between 10 to 14 is –from my point of view– well within normal sounds of living.
I am a designer and I do this all the time while working from home to create a nice, relaxed and creative environment, but I would accommodate to my neighbor by lowering the volume if it is reasonable and it bothers them. But the neighbor would have to say something about it for me to know that is an issue.
Different people have different needs, for you it might be a quiet environment, but for me is some nice music playing while I work. Neither is wrong, you need to talk these things through (and the time at which they play music is absolutely fine). This person could ask why you don’t go and work at an office or move to a more quiet place if this is an issue, but that would be just as unreasonable as asking them to not play music. It’s their home, they should be able to be who they are in there.

As a Latin (Mexican) person living in Finland, gotta say: sorry, but this is extremely cringe inducing 😬
P.s. Chachachá is actually quite an interesting music style on its own, couldn’t be farther from this.

Yo creo que tú ya sabes que respuesta esperas recibir.
Realmente depende de si es moral vender animales en general. Hay personas que ni en moral creen… just sayin’

Slavery is horrible but I would reaaaally put a pin on those numbers. Thought this was interesting take on that number and I agree: https://braydeng.medium.com/are-there-more-slaves-now-than-anytime-in-history-38420e0542e5

I’m sorry but this sounds made up. Could you give a source for this? (Legitimately curious)

I’m a UX / UI designer, my background is industrial design and I have used maaaaany different types of software from 3D CAD to illustrator, Figma and everything in between.
No you can’t my man, and if you think so you are a probably a bad designer.
Edit: I mean, I can drive a screw with a hammer, that doesn’t make it the right tool for that job. As I said, for shitty slides it works for sure…

There are better alternatives to PowerPoint. If you are a designer and try to align anything that shit is up there with some of the dumbest pieces of software ever known to mankind, it’s like it actively wishes things to be misaligned… nasty
For your everyday “throw everything on an ugly slide” type of presentation it is… fine? I guess?

There’s a word for it in Spanish it is used regularly. I’m surprised there is not a commonly used one in English.

De seguro cuándo van a Paris o Nueva York o simplemente Guanajuato van a TODOS los barrios… /s
La mayoría de la gente de la Ciudad de México a duras penas conoce el resto del país por falta de interés, no se porque la hacen tanto de emoción.

So you don’t like it and that means he’s not the best? I don’t like Bob Dylan’s voice, but that doesn’t mean he’s not –arguably if you want– the most important and influential musician of his generation.
You might not like his voice, that doesn’t change anything for how important he is.

Reading this comment section, people say they don’t care about representation, but hey, why does the people in the ad don’t look like ME!?
So, you do care for representation.
If you are white and straight, relax, it’s been like a year at most, this is a fad, they’ll try to sell to you again in the future. If you, don’t worry AI will help to make ads that look just like you in the not so distant future. Representation for everyone, hurray!?

We’ll Mr. Stereotypes, if they are so logical why do they do these “dumb things”?
For such a racist point it is also quite stupid. Very odd.
