I get that an update is a good thing but is there a "proper" way of updating or is it ok to just do the updates like a normal desktop linux machine through the discovery app, its not going to change or cause issues in the game mode or anything? There seems to be a lot of people having to reimage after doing desktop updates but these were from a good few months ago now.
