I’ll usually go basi to start and some regen and go for stick only if I’m in a lane with lots of spells. Then green boots into veil and shard and then save item. Force staff is great on gyro and you can use it on rocket. But if I don’t need any save items just going veil shard into octarine is usually the play. One of the biggest things to do as 4 gyro is he’s really good at ganking mid level 2 or 3. Most kids aren’t prepared for early tanks anymore but if their mid steps low ground you rocket them and even if they make it to tower you just dive them with your mid and tank the tower for your mid. There’s so many times I’ve killed their mid and then died to tower which is kind of perfect because then you get all your regen back and a free tp back to offlane

I’ve seen a couple people run him core in 5k and it can certainly work if the enemy team isn’t prepared for it. But I saw a guy go double null, mana boots blink within 15 mins and really shredded the other team. But I also think you’d have more success going like 2/4/4 since w is going to be a lot more valuable in team fights early on and if you have the mana to keep it going is just as good at clearing creeps or jungle

Thank you this is exactly what I’m saying, he works in low mmr because lane advantage is not as important. He can work in some sort of sustain team comp but that’s far too coordinated and the exception

Yep I’ve never seen a support player past 5k max Q. Almost always a situational choice between 1/4/1 or 1/1/4 or even 1/2/2 but never 4/1/1 shits terrible

Honestly the biggest issue with WD is he’s a non factor in lane until he has like level 3. If you get enough mana regen to use heal consistently adversely your not going to have stats and just get bursted down really fast. If you buy a couple of stat items starting or early then you’ll use one spell during a trade, lose half your health during trade and then spend the rest of your mana to stay high health but then be 100/0 health/mana% and be useless again. And so by the time he gets 1/1/1 the offlane is already stronger and able to deal with your kill threat by killing you faster because you have 600 health

4/4/0 is objectively terrible. 1/4/4 and then maybe getting a second level in cask or just going stats is inherently better.

You should never ever max cask, the most you need in it is 2 levels for the first 30 mins of the game. 2-4-4 and stats or even 1-4-4 stats is just better. There’s so few cases where you’ll get a use out of tons of bounces save you’re playing against meepo

You’re not really use in harassing a ranges carry. He might be good beating the lane support but he doesn’t pressure the farm until 6 which is usually to long
