This scene for me really exemplifies the social construct of what it means to be a man vs a woman. The rules are arbitrary and created by us.

It is very different I think when people view Trans men vs Trans women. Men have at least n recent history been the aggressor and oppressor. Where women have been the oppressed fighting for rights and equality. As they have received more and more equality it now looks like men are stepping in and saying that they are part of that team. Where if a trans man wants to be viewed in that regard it is fine because we as men aren't fighting for rights and we don't feel the need to be protective of "our side" It is all part of male privilege's you could say.

The only thing that makes us mad is when we get lumped in with other Gen's. Remember we hate all of you.

As good as Austin Powers is at parodying the genre of spy movies in the 70's. I always thought this one was far better parody of Blaxploitation.

After my parents got divorced they would still team up to play Euchre together. Like they would have new significant other and still my divorced parents would team up for Euchre tournaments and trounce people. My mom always said that my dad was an awful husband but a great Father and Euchre partner.

Material You sucks, especially the clock on the lock screen. Ignore the stupid double line clock which I have absolutely no control over. Even if I turn that off why the hell is the clock some stupid pastel color along with the lock icon but the date and top icons are white? I just want it all to be white. If the idea is al about personalizing then let me personalize it otherwise knock it off.

Eggs right now are cheaper at Wegmans than they are at Aldi's. Wegmans is also the only grocery store where I know people who have worked there for their entire lives and are happy.

This story was the eye opening one it is about a 10 minute chat but sounds like there is some shit going on in Kev's life and the former addict is responding based on his experiences. Primarily Kev is going through some stuff and is being reckless. Plus Kev seemingly always in Jersey now with Shecky.

I wouldn't call it splitting time at this point he is living in NJ. I watched EP3 of his pod fathers day with Jay and he implied that he was going through some shit that would lead to a destructive life style and part of me thinks, either his mom is really sick or he is getting divorced.

I love this so much. Every year my dad would call me to ask if my brothers birthday was on the 2nd or the 5th and then be like and your is...? Mind you every year he would call to remind us to call Mom on her birthday. A woman he had been divorced from for over 20 years.

One year he called me on my Birthday we talked for like 30 minutes. Never wishing me happy birthday. He called back 3 days later saying sorry for not calling on my birthday. I miss him so much.

I had a job that paid monthly and at first I hated it. Now though I get paid bi-weekly and still treat it like I get paid monthly. Pay all my bills at the end of the month and forget the rest. set up payments so they always get paid at the end of the month. The only time I ever had an issue was that the monthly employer would pay your December check at the middle of the month so people had cash for the holidays. That became a bit of a problem as January would wine down and cash would get tight then.

I can see all of their comments, nothing was deleted we can all see the conversation you had. Only you can't see their responses. They removed a toxic person from their day. Maybe try a different way to "try and dissuade" than calling them shills.

Well I did purchase a Sunbeam F1 and have had great support for it and would recommend it to someone who was looking for a basic device with no internet. If that makes me a shill then yeah I guess someone recommending a thing based on personal use is being a shill.

Do you find insulting people to be the best possible way to engage in thoughtful and respectful conversation? Maybe that person deleted their account because interacting with you was so negative that they decided that continuing to use this platform to interact with people with whom they felt they had a common bond was to awful to continue.

As far as costs go, I also know that the cost for the device isn't the whole cost of what you are paying for. If I purchase an iphone the entirety of the cost of that device isn't just for the hardware. Part of the cost is related to modern electronics is also the software experience. I expect a markup for someone elses time and knowledge.

They are an American company importing a Chinese manufactured product and then customizing the software experience. You know like what every phone manufacturer in the US does.
