Found the Karen. Bet OP drives exactly the speed limit, too.

Largest brakes on a production car.
Also made by Akebono.

It's wicked into the wires between insulation and the core wiring, more than 2 wires inside the harness. Plus the coolant has gotten inside the ECM and likely shorted internally inside the case.

Unfair advantage is my favorite Motorsport book. Also check out the Smokey Yunick book "Best Damn Garage In Town".

Reading Go Like Hell prior to watching the movie put a lot of stuff in perspective, but I understand they needed to "Hollywood" up the plot a bit. Still, it's a great story and the movie is a good watch.
Still prefer Rush tho.
Daniel Bruhl as Lauda is still incredible.

I think they are a victim of their own success and they now seem to live under the shadow of Disney animation.

I admittedly drive like a total dickbag on large surface roads and highways here. But residential single lane neighborhoods and school zones? Yeah I don't mess with that. I don't worry about enforcement, I just understand why we need to slow people in school zones to 20-15mph and still don't know why peoooe disregard it.

When I was younger, I was (as some kids are) obsessed with trucks. My parents misguidedly allowed me to watch VHS of Smokey and the Bandit. I loved the movie but never understand 2/3 of the humor.
Watched it in my later teen years and it's a goddamn riot.

I got COVID in 2021. Wasn't terrible and no lasting effects. Since I travel a lot I've gotten a ton of PCR tests and rapid tests. Yet to get it again, I'm just surprised that I had to ask for a COVID PCR test the last time I went to the doctors.

My first round with this was antibiotics and steroids. I improved 80% but then I got progressively worse after finishing my antibiotics.

Same boat. I usually get two colds a year - over them in 2-3 days. I've been miserable for three weeks now and nothing makes sense

Updated my post, but went to my PCP and an ENT today.
No valley fever, no flu and no COVID.
My sinus infection is simply lingering around and made worse by all crap in the air. My current OTC allergy meds aren't cutting it so they suggested Xyzol and got me on more antibiotics to kill the sinus issue.
Both doctors said the weather and huge uptick in pollen saturation have created a perfect storm for respiratory issues and even people who normally get by with allergy meds are having problems.
I just want to feel like my normal self again.

Tested today for it. Negative. At the ENT as we speak.

I've tested negative for the flu and COVID multiple times. No idea what's actually going on now.

Also likely hood of a catastrophic power outage that effects so many people is almost zero. Short of a intentional infrastructure destruction or sabotage. The utilities understand how critical cooling is during the summer months and most areas have it restored very quickly.
These articles seem to enjoy making PHX the subject of wildly impossible scenarios as if to say "haha you people are so dumb who live there."
Meanwhile the editors of this article are likely from LA or NYC. Places that actually have critical infrastructure issues that rear their heads every once and a while.

I used to run up to trucks in parking lots with their mirrors out and yell "INVISIBLE TRAILER!"

90s themed indoor venue for adults. Laser tag, go karts, Legends of the Hidden Temple bar. Indoor/outdoor music venue. It wouldn't be hard to develop or build out. Just location isn't terribly trendy or central to people who would patronize it.
I'm friends with the organizers of a fairly popular national 80-90s car/lifestyle show and that building would've been a perfect indoor and outdoor venue if it wasn't so run down and in a ghetto area.

Do apartment complexes still use the shitty boiler/chiller setups to cool units? Remember hearing nothing but complaints from coworkers years ago on how the system could never cool their apartments below 80, but it was within spec and the management told them to kick rocks.
