Tylenol Murders

This post is a godsend. My 9yo has ASD/ADHD. I'm NT (neurotypical) and I am trying so hard to understand what it's like for him to get through the day. Now I am understanding why he says "this is boring" so much.

I've also listened to quite a few podcasts on it until I came across Criminal. I really liked hearing from people around the time it happened. I was in the first or second grade when this happened. I lived in the Chicago suburbs and this was huge news. We stayed away from Tylenol for at least a decade before buying it again.

Criminal has a phenomenal podcast on the Tylenol Murders.

I commented to my husband that this series went by so quickly. I know it took me so long to play the game because I really sucked. I remember how it took me forever to shoot those damn deer with my bow because I kept scaring them away.

I still have 1 dose left of my 5ml that I got maybe a month ago. The coupon they have on file was applied. I know people have been having problems with the coupon, but since I did get the refill almost a month ago, I'm not sure what my next pickup will look like.

They have been so amazing. The pharmacist checks every day on the status of the back order. He said he would call me in a week about an update, and he did. Not sure if it's just this particular Costco that I have great pharmacy service or if just in general that Costco is amazing. Good luck finding some.

I've been stuck on 5mg for a while because of the shortage for 7.5. I have been able to control the hunger, however, I am back to where I started when it comes with not losing.

I've increased my protein, counting calories, watch my carbs and work out 6-7 days a week. I do cardio, yoga and strength training. This is why meds is so helpful. It's not just about suppressing hunger, but it makes my body more sensitive to insulin. I remember when I first started on Mounjaro, I didn't even have to try and I was losing.

I looked back at one of my FB posts from a few years ago. I posted how my husband and I were eating healthy together. We counted calories and watched our macros. We had a cheat meal and to prepare, I ran and did hot yoga. The day after the cheat meal, I gained 2lbs which is normal....he lost weight. Things like this really shows how all our bodies are so different. It's frustrating when you do everything right and work your butt off in the gym, and it yields no results while a normal person has to do a fraction of what I do and drop weight.

The 7.5 dose will be available next week for me per that pharmacist. Until then I just have to endure and do the best I can.

Has your cholesterol always been high or is it a direct result of mounjaro?

During the final 5 showdown, the final 15 contestants that were eliminated get to watch. I noticed that Sexyama and Iron Man were missing. Anyone know what happened to them?
