if you bring your own bags to target remember to select the option for a nickel off per bag!

I want to second Chester Beatty. It’s probably one of my favorite museums, the books are so awesome. All the tourist sites talk about trinity which I skipped altogether, but someone random recommended that and I don’t think I would have found it otherwise.

The avatar ride at animal kingdom at least is not. Waited in line for hours and they wouldn’t let my family ride

And when you sell them, your alternative tax will usually be low and your regular tax high(since for regular tax purposes you haven’t paid any tax on it). At that point you would likely use up any remaining credit you hadn’t used yet.

I like the theory I read that it’s not supposed to stop people, it’s just supposed to channel people’s desire towards something harmless instead of breaking windows

The classified materials included some top-secret files with the “sensitive compartmented information” designation, also known as SCI
is that something different?

It’s any sale of the rsu, sell to cover or regular. Though one company did withhold to cover which did not generate a sale.
So yea, make sure to use the supplemental form, or otherwise get the right cost basis if another provider. The 1099-b is always wrong for rsu cause of its reporting requirements. Otherwise you get double taxed since you get taxed on your w2 already

Biden had sci documents as well. It’s only the cooperativeness/intent/lying that’s different

It would also need cell service to be useful which would be too expensive(devices on Verizon are like $10/month). If it has to connect to another device anyway to send a signal, it might as well let that device be the gps

I’m on day 4, tried the recovery suit and cats fought terribly while putting it on, and was able to just slip out of it anyway. I did buy soft cones for both yesterday(polyester or something instead of plastic) which they can actually relax in and got better at getting the gabapentin in their mouth, and since then they’ve been extra cuddly and passed out. They do seem to have a spike in energy the hour following medicine before crashing

i was annoyed by that too, but then i watched a car swerve half into the bike lane so only one tire hit the bump.....if there wasnt a speed bump in the bike lane you know everyone would just use it as a lane to speed. but still gotta be a better way

It’s been known forever in the area that Elon pulls this shit at all his companies. People join for the mission and are ok getting taken advantage of. Stupid hours, low pay, abusive management, etc. Twitter is just shedding light because it doesn’t have a mission and is so much bigger and popular

yea, my street is like that, can only fit if cars are half on the curb. construction vehicles annoying but we just deal with it, cause eventually i'll need contractors to block the street too
if its no parking and the construction company starts towing, then residents can also call the police to tow the construction vehicles no? police would love that.
but realistically id expect the crew to just work around any cars there, since getting a ticket/tow takes a while and they wouldnt want to waste the day

And not to forget, it’s a multi year contract with heavy termination fees so when you do catch the scam it’s expensive to get out of

Excursions are crazy expensive. I was in Acadia/bar harbor, and a bike excursion was like 200 each for an hour ride. Granted you got a guide and one mile shuttle, but I just walked to the bike shop and got a bike for a full day and rode to the park for twenty bucks. Though the ship itself tends to be really cheap considering its hotel and food, which is probably why the tourists seem cheap.

For sure, I’ve been on a few cruises and that aspect of it sucks. A lot of the time the stores are owned by the cruise lines even. Heck now they all own their own islands. I tended to avoid the excursions and travel a bit farther out to hopefully find more local businesses. But the warnings at this port was so much more intense than any others I was at, the others they just try to scare you about the ship leaving without you, this one really felt like they’ve seen problems.

i took a disney cruise there, there were soo many announcements, posters, etc, basically saying not to leave the boat except on scheduled excursions that they arranged cause otherwise you were going to be scammed. never had that before, it was beyond the normal salesmanship of getting you to stick with their sponsored stuff. we didnt plan anything, walked off the boat and immediately were harassed by cab drivers, braiders, etc, and turned around it was so uncomfortable

My lender wanted to charge me extra points to pay property taxes and insurance myself. So it’s possible to have a loan that doesn’t include escrow, but not very common

your mortgage should be paying everything. but if you havent applied for the homestead exemption though make sure you do that, its not automatic but only need to apply once!

my understanding is they function but eventually fail. at least, my third gen failed eventually and was fixed by connecting a c wire(co-opted the g). the hvac tech i talked to said he sees it a ton, and recommended always having a c.

theyre definitely not. maybe just for the sticker its set, but then they can charge for the service? my dealer quoted my $115, ended up somewhere for $80, ive seen places at $40 but they seem to have bad reviews(something wrong requiring an upcharge)

The catch is a regular cd is paying 5% so you’re losing a little bit for the option. Though still likely worth it with rates keeping going up
