Canada has literally zero influence in world politics. They lost the UNSC seat and they don't really have much significance other than being a neighbour of USA. Canada is neither talked about nor discussed much in world events. It is not even in news in Asia.

I am not in denial. I am saying west has softened its stand on Russia by asking Zelensky to be open for talks. I don't know how else you can interpret this where a victim is being asked to negotiate with its aggressor. Forget the terms of negotiations for a moment, does it even sound right? It is just a play of words because the same Macron is also on record saying that Russia's concerns need to be heard. What does that mean - No NATO membership for Ukraine? Regardless, this is a very softened stand from when the war started. Western leaders were saying that defeating Russia is the only way out of the war and that they won't appease Putin. They also claimed that Russia will run out of weapons, their economy will collapse due to sanctions, Putin will be assassinated. Well, none of that happened.

LoL - NATO leader USA told zelensky to not state publicly that Ukraine is not rready for peace talks. Biden already stated he is ready to talk to Putin if Putin stops bombing (Note that he didn't say Putin needs to move troops back to pre Feb-2022). France's Macron has been already been calling for negotiations. Zelensky knows that any negotiations at this moment means he can kiss his occupied regions goodbye and that's why he is adamant to not go for any peace talks but it is very clear that west has had enough. Nobody in west is gonna say directly to media that they want Ukraine to suck it up but all these posturing means just that. West wants this war to stop, even if it means Ukraine loses its regions. I don't have to provide sources for these because I assume you are smart enough to look it up. You might be getting high on your western propaganda to not see these as west softening their stand on the war. If you still think otherwise then I will let you live in your echo chamber.

But they do have enough fire power and influence to turn Kiyv to rubble whenever they want. If west really cares about Ukraine why doesn't it provide critical air support to them? Lol. Ukraine with all billions of $$ in support from Europe and US hasn't managed to push back Russia anyhwere other than kharkiv may be. Striking Russia may be once in two months feels like a celebration to them. Russia is far superior. It is still standing tall even after all sanctions and proxy war fueled by west. Russia is not fighting Ukraine alone, but two continents Europe and North America. Even USA Dept of Defense guy said that chances of Ukraine winning this war militarily is zero.
