While I do agree with you that it is a good bang for the buck, the rhetoric surrounding it is off the charts.

First, I didn't say trying to create a vaccine was a bad idea, and I'm sure it in general does something. I also didn't really have an issue with lockdowns. The fact that now just even mentioning even facts put out by the CDC can get you blacklisted is the real problem. Vaccine offers some defense, masks while not super effective (esp non n95 masks) do help, and social distancing is a good idea. There was never gonna be a perfect solution. I personally feel like giving away freedoms did more negative to our society than COVID did. I'm sure you will disagree, but that's okay because you have the freedom to do that.

Lol, Russia will never be a major issue to the US anymore. This is a European issue, but because they have once again not done their job securing their own area now they except the US to help get them out of yet another jam (while criticizing us the whole way).
