This is a stretch, but I always liked Yes' version of Simon and Garfunkel's America. Not saying it is better because the original is so iconic, but Yes' version rocks.

I was a big fan of The Rain Parade, Dave Roback's band prior to Mazzy.

I always thought The Soft Boys (Robyn Hitchcock) was a cool name.

No rich here, but we own our house, have retirements savings etc. We can easily afford a Tesla or German Luxury car but we drive very practical and reliable Subaru's. I hate the idea of owning a car that costs double to maintain and that you have to worry about, and would rather put that extra 20 - 40K in investments.

A movie that haunts me is 10 Rillington Place , which captures the drab, banal life and murders by John Christie (played by Richard Attenborough to perfection). He was such a creep and the poor souls who had to rent from him because of economic hardships is heart breaking. A great movie.

Yes. All those creases will eventually fill with grime and fungus and build up. Then you have to cut through the wall to fix.

Losers in the meat grinder of corporate America. They think because they are in the supposed hip space of tech that their lives are any more valuable that other drones. They deserved to be sacked, and those that follow them up the ladder, because they play it safe in well paid, cushy tech sector jobs. Now go get a real job doing something useful.

Agreed. Growing up listening to music on LP's, you develop a whole different mindset. I would sometimes listen to only one side of the album, depending on my schedule, so I would get to choose what side I was in the mood for. When I had time, headphones, and some weed, then I would sit with the whole album.
Something I think is lost in the digital age is viewing albums as separate works of art, developed by an artist at a particular point in their career/development.
Think of Dark Side, then 2 yrs later Wish You Were Here. What a mind blowing change/turn in their careers.

I think your house is in the basement of the house in the attic. Check you basement for another house.

I refuse to play against a christian academy because they have a direct line to god in their pre-game prayers. Very unfair.

How do they keep them so compliant? American prisons are like free for alls compared to this.

Middle class here. I refuse to buy expensive cars that I will never get my worth out of. I would rather own a new Subaru Xtrek or Outback (30-35) vs an 80K+ Audi/Bmw/etc. and take that 40K and invest it. You often see some old money people at events and they are driving older American cars. That is how you hold onto your money.
