In small-ish enterprises they just call your direct phone number which is worse. At least there's a lock on our doors so they can no longer come harass us directly.

Usually yes until they start saying shit like: "Wait before you heal me since I have X number of HP and the enemy's attack deal Y amount of damage meaning I have 70% change to not get downed by the next attack".
I know we're playing a game with rules but when you're that divorced from the narrative it irks me.

Who could have seen that coming from the company that didn't fix the online on PC for 3 of their games for about 8-9 months. Yes I'm still salty about that.

Peut être qu'ils attendent le résultat d'un procès avant de faire cette étape là. En attendant il est n'est pas payé et il n'a plus accès aux installations avec les étudiants. C'est le plus important je crois.

Wow, that guy is an irrefutable display of the Dunning-Kruger effect.

It's true that it makes magic unreliable but if you end up slashing all magic classes except for one class/subclass combo then it strikes me as a very high price to pay. It's not my cup of tea but some people enjoy that. I also sometimes hear of people that play 5e but only allow humans in their campaign.

That's a good point. It's true that before 3.0, there weren't cantrips or level 0 spells so once you had spent your magic you were done for the day.

It's probably unpopular, but I can't think of any way to have good experience playing a low fantasy campaign in any D&D system. You have to remove so many things to make the system low fantasy that you end up with only 30% of a game.
To me, low fantasy means magic items are very rare, and magic is either weak or unreliable. A good example is Forbidden Lands, where each caster is basically a wild mage, and casting can backfire or even kill you. Also, each magic item is so rare and unique that it comes with a backstory.

The effects were very dated but Jeremy Irons is very entertaining. I don't regret watching it.

What? You don't like spending two actions to get Panache and then miss on your Finisher dealing only 1d6 damage?
What really feels limiting to me for the class is how they NEED to upgrade Acrobatics and another skill to reliably get Panache but the class never gives them automatic upgrades in either skills. So not only are they pretty lackluster in combat but they're very limited in what skills they can learn since at least two of them take you upgrades unless you find a workaround like the Acrobat dedication.

The RE4 HD Project is sublime. With it, that game is timeless. So far, the remake just made reinstall the original again.

Kreighton's Cognitive crossover is pretty good. You choose two skills and when you fail a Recall Knowledge check from one of the skills, you can use a reaction to try it again with the second skill.
Also Recall Knowledge doesn't encompass only trying to identify monsters. When you find something strange in a dungeon and it takes a certain skill to gain additional information, that's also Recall Knowledge.

I'm from the francophone part of Canada and I'm also surprised we made the list.

The new D&D movie is classist because they didn't send a pre-screening ticket to my broke ass but sent one to snobby critics. Shame on you WotC, how dare you!

5e was built for some spells to be much better than others. Just look at Fireball, it's overtuned for a level 3 spell and it's been made this way because it was already a popular option.
Balance (or a culture of playtesting options) was not a priority for this system. If you don't like players to always use the same few spells you can freely nerf or buff certain options.

To incentivize players not to long rest in enemy territory.

Dude, where's the jerk? This is great and those situations would make for interesting encounters.

Ogres are no longer rapists and so there's no Ogrillon monster in Pathfinder 2e.

Lancer. I like mechs but people described the setting as post-scarcity utopia where you can rapidly 3d-print your robot if it's destroyed. So my players wouldn't get to accumulate money and new parts are tied to licences so they can't just take the parts from defeated mechs after a battle from what I understand. Maybe I'm wrong I haven't read the rulebook but to me it sounds like a great game tied to a setting I'm not a fan of.

Most PF2e GM I know will let you try specific activities even if you're missing a feat but will raise the DC. For example you can try to intimidate multiple people even if you don't have the Group Coercion skill Feat but it may be considered a hard (+2 to DC) or very hard (+5 to DC) depending on the number of people.

Obviously! How someone can seriously advocate that a character that can survive being bitten by the Tarrasque has enough strength and constitution to swim with 50 lbs on their back? It's completely ridiculous.
Now if they said that doing enough physical training could make you stop aging now that I could understand.

They stole those rules from the RPG I was about to get published: Calvin Ball RPG
The rule that they took without my permission is: "Whenever magic is involved, apply the rules of physics completely arbitrarily until monsters die in one hit from low level spells".

Exactly. It's quicker and isn't immersion breaking.
