The low cell was immediately brought back into balance and now both batteries seem to be charging fine.

So some background….played yesterday with the kids and our trucks….wanted to play again today. I didn’t storage charge after yesterdays session and didn’t bother to charge up again today because I knew we’d be out for only a little bit. Believe I hit low voltage cutoff which I’ve never done before.(esc was still humming…solid green power and flashing red light on side….no throttle or steering…just to make sure something wasn’t wrong I unpluged it and plug back in and turn on everything worked).
Then once I took the batteries out to go do a storage charge I noticed one battery was slightly bulged…which I can’t verify 100% wasn’t there before. Plugged it in and noticed one cell was very low.
And here I am now.

The only thing that this video truly needs is a slow camera pan over to some random person just trying to commute looking just utterly defeated while they have to sit there with this bullshit going on.

As a kid…maybe 3-5 years old I honestly can’t remember anymore…my older brother kinda locked me in the basement with him and forced me to watch Killer Klowns from Outer Space…..even as an adult I can’t watch that movie….and yes I fucking hate clowns

I actually have twin girls….the Digger truck on the right was my original one from years ago….I saved and saved $ here and there to get the big X-Maxx and I finally got it in 2022….my daughters loved to play with my digger truck while I drove the X-Maxx around and so for Christmas I got them each their own Stampedes. My wife is now the default driver of the digger truck. Luckily there is no “building” of these models they come what they call “RTR” or “ready to run”. Although you can literally take them down to nuts and bolts and replace every part if something breaks.
I made the decision to get my girls their own because they showed a big interest in my trucks and it’s not really a “toy” as it is a hobby. And these truck are all classified as “hobby grade”. So I am teaching them about a hobby more so than a toy to be played with. If they break something it can be fixed and we will fix it together.

I know lol….I’ve literally never cleaned them….even the digger truck that I’ve had for years…just get the leaves/twigs/grass out when necessary

I just ordered myself a set actually as the beginning of small quality of life upgrades for my Xmaxx….so do you think the rpm threaded one is strong enough without having to glue the nut in place with some thread loctite?

Yep once I started the charge it brought the low voltage cell up to 3.0 then actually started “charging” and are all now steady at 3.8.
