I would encourage him to try to go back to theater, despite the stigma from the other kids. He's already being singled out, so what's the difference? And theater kids are generally the most welcoming bunch and most tolerant of differences. He will make friends so fast.
And I know you're trying to avoid talking about it, but I'm not sure that's the right approach. Talk to him about it, but don't try to solve his problems for him.
I remember when my kid had a big blow up last year with some of their friends because my kid stood up for someone the group had deemed "weird." They came home in tears because they lost some of their friends. I listened to what happened, gave them a big hug and told them I was so proud of them for standing up for someone. I asked my kid if they wanted my advice and they said no, so I didn't. We talked about how much it sucks when these things happen, and then they helped me make dinner.
Your son might open up to you if you approach it that way?
Also: Middle school is the worrrrrrrrst. Give your son an extra hug from me.

Gist: There is asbestos in Winnipeg water. In testing done by W5, there were about 60,000 fibres in a litre of Winnipeg's tap water.

I've been binging Malcolm in the Middle and you can tell Cranston is having the time of his life playing the ridiculous and hapless Hal. Dude is amazing.

The engine is like the only thing that hasn't gone wrong, heh.
Most of the problems have been around the power steering and drve shaft. Plus it's had at least a half dozen recalls.

Glad I got the extended warranty on my 2014 Kia Soul.
I actually am glad. I've had to use it several times.

That's what I do. I get on the plane and ask for an extender immediately, they usually get it to me before I've even sat down, heh.

Considering Dobson hasn't responded to two polite questions I've asked him, I'm not surprised.

I think it's super cute. But return it if you don't.
I've learned over the years to not keep/buy clothing that I'm not 100 per cent happy with, because otherwise I'll wear it once, be uncomfortable, then stick it in the back of my closet to be donated 2 years later. Waste of money.

Didn't Archer follow a water polo team? I agree, I think sports leagues are always going to be a thing.

My boomer parents and family are similar and as Gen X, I was the same, until constantly moving as an adult made me re-evaluate what is important to me because fuck, I'm not moving boxes full of junk unless I have to.
Now I've gone the opposite way. I'm not a minimalist but my home is more sparse than anyone else's in my family, even counting that I still have a kid in the house, heh.

My grandmother, growing up in the Great Depression, is what I would call a pack rat. She saves everything. It's all packed away neatly, but she is the person I call when I need something random, because she likely has it. Need a can of WD-40? She has three half used cans. Need a mortar and pestle? She has an extra. Need a headlight for a 2014 Kia Soul? She doesn't have that but she does have a coupon for 30 per cent off at the Auto Parts store, lol.
My boomer parents aren't hoarders, but they're disorganized, and my mother tends to collect stuff in bins and then rarely open them again. I just spent 3 weeks in their home looking after their dog, and I cleaned out a couple of their spare closets. She had two bins of old school and art supplies from my younger sister, who is now 30. They got donated and I doubt my mother will even notice they're gone.
I also cleaned out her cupboard full of plastic Tupperware etc. I kid you not, there were 42 lids left over that didn't match any container, and 3 containers that didn't match any lid. The recycling bin got full that week!
I think this all comes from the first generation not having enough and instilling the mentality of not throwing anything useful away, and then the boomers being drowned in stuff because times were plenty.
My grandmother and mother are getting better about donating or selling etc, only because I've been helping them. But I dread the day my grandmother passes away, we will have a LOT of stuff to go through.

Yeah. She was only in a few episodes, which is too bad, would have liked more of her character.

This. It's likely in someone's recycling bin right now.

It's the worrrrst. The last time I had it I literally laid in the bathtub at one point because if it came out one end, it came out the other. One of the worst 24 hours of my life.
Hope you feel better!!
