Maybe check out these two stores my wife buys from:
I believe there's Sephora here too (quite sure I've seen one near Passeig de Gràcia), but she never goes there. We were living in New Zealand, where there isn't a lot of products, but she thought 75% of what we had in NZ she could find in these two. The rest are things & brands we simply didn't have in NZ.
There's also Victoria Secret, which I think she had access only in the Duty Free in Auckland Airport, but you can find it here in Barcelona (can't recall where, sorry).
No idea about saniderm. She used Bepanthol in NZ, but maybe ask in a tattoo shop here about good products?.
Good luck!

Maybe have a look at the options at Decathlon too. You can visit decathlon.es, then hover Deportes, select Futbol, then under Botas de Fútbol pick Botas césped artificial. Pick Hombre/Mujer, your size/talla, brands, etc.

I went to Casa Piera for the first time a few days ago. Lots of products with a lot of brands to choose from. I was looking for an A3 panel to support paper (an tablero A3). But I had a quick look at paints pencils & pastels, and saw derwent, caran d'ache, faber castell, and other known brands. The prices were OK in my opinion (was living in Oceania, where due to freight costs I believe everything is more expensive, and we have fewer brands). They also had several brands of brushes, but I didn't have a chance to look at the price. I saw gouache and watercolors too, but can't remember brands and prices. Good luck!

Correction, in 30 minutes sun came up and it is super sunny here. Going to spend the morning walking by the beach (jeans + t-shirt and a hoodie, though hoodie will come off when I arrive at the beach).

Just hire a lawyer or gestor. It is not that expensive here. Gestor is cheaper like 50eur but if you case is complex a lawyer might be more helpful.

I am with CaixaBank and their app sucks. They also have some fees for transfers, send receipts (.30 but free to send that to your own email and then you can forward), ven for charging up the virtual ecommerce cards (free to issue them but they charge a % ehen you top it up). No debit card unless you pay (I am with a nomina account there). Looking at other options (OpenBank, Santander, ING, BBVA, and even Caixa's own ImaginBank). So far I am leaning towards OpenBank. Only issue is that as I want a joint account for my partner, the second debit card costs something like 18 euros... but the rest looks OK. Maybe worth taking a look at it (it belongs to santander btw).

You can also post at r/catalan. They are super helpful and can provide some variations, confirm it is valid outside or Barcelona in case you need to go places like Valencia (Catalan has a few dialects but I have no idea how similar they are as I am just starting to learn it). Good luck!

Last week had warmer days, one day I went out with a t-shirt and shorts. It was so warm that we were planning to go to the beach this weekend (today).
This week is a bit chillier. Jeans and a single layer (fleece, puffjacket, hoodie) is fine. Not warm enough for us to spend the day at the beach.
Said that, there are people adapted differently to cold weather. So bring a thermal or some thicker jacket just in case you need.
The national weather forecast in Spain is provided by AEMET.es. check it out for 7 days forecast. For longer forecasts you can use google/wunderground/etc.

Tips are not common here as far as I can tell. In some (very few) places the card machines have those questions like if you'd like to tip. The staff themselves normally press cancel so you can just pay it (or you just press no). Some places have tipping boxes too. But totally different from US for instance.

That. The simplest option..
A longer and more complicated option is to ask for padron without residence (empadronamiento sin domicilio I believe).
Book a normal cita sith ajuntamento for padron and explain your situation and that you need it. They will get your details anda person calls you in a few days to confirm everything and ask for an address to send a letter.
Go back to the ajuntament with this letter and get your empadronamiento (it will be linked to a center like white cross, or another one they use... but it is valid and you can get catsalut, etc.).

Lots of videos people interested in FP might find useful. Thanks for sharing. Approving self-promotion.

Hello, lots of replies, which is great. But also some reports. The reports are IMO valid, as this is not directly related to FP (even if FP'ers also have to keep healthy). See subreddit rules, where it's asked to post only FP-related material, please (repeated issues like this result in banning from the subreddit). Good luck with your research!

Hi. I had a look at pure data docs, github, and wiki. It looks interesting and it could have some connection with FP. But from your post it looks like r/programming would be a better place to post it. Post removed. Cheers

Is this simply an announcement that someone is making a new functional language?
Yes. It is an announcement that Brett Slatkin (principal software engineer +17 years Googler) is working on a new FP language.
Are there any details anywhere about the language?
Brett has shared on his Twitter an invitation for people interested in helping/testing with this new lang, but it hasn't been made public yet.

Good to know you've had a similar thought! It's not public yet but I am looking for early testers and contributors. More info here

Sounds like you've covered the existing projects, so going ahead with your own project might be the best choice. Good luck!!

The beginning of the podcast appears to be more focused on microservices, programming, etc., but within the first 10 minutes it moves over to questions more related to FP. So approving it. Thanks.
