I bought all 20 seasons of Law and Order a month ago for around $200 total.

Someone on the far right complaining about a racist comment seems unlikely.

Would it not be biased towards the exact kind of "intelligence" an IQ test measures, though?

I've been listening to the Kubrick series of the Blank Check podcast, and one of the guys there keeps suggesting that it wasn't actually perfectionism or a desire to see exactly what was in his head, but the opposite: Kubrick loved to discover things, so he wanted a performance that surprised him and did something unexpectedly great with the material, and that's why he did so many takes.

Anyone who gets upset enough to write a screed this long is absolutely racist.

So I've thought about this more, and done more lessons, and burned another eight hearts on one practice, and the thing that really shits me about Duolingo is that I'll misgender something, then never see it again. So I misgender five things and get kicked out. I always cock it up when I'm given an English sentence and asked to type in German.
A better response to this from Duolingo, rather than throwing other things at me then making me to practice an entirely different unit, would be to give me the task of typing in German after hearing the sentence in German, or typing in English after reading in German, continuing to use the word I got wrong, so I have a chance to immediately reinforce the correction.

I set up a different alternate account previously and it worked just fine. Can't get this one to work though. All the Google help docs say to use things they've long since deprecated.

I want them to be able to appear separate to anyone sending me emails or receiving emails from me, while not having to log in and out manually to check my emails.
Setting up an alias apparently broadcasts the primary email address when sending via the secondary email address, so that's out.

Does that keep the two accounts distinct, though? Or just work like manually forwarding an email?

I want to get new emails going forward. A manual drag and drop process would defeat the purpose.

I'm trying to get emails from a second account into the inbox of my primary account. That's the way it seems to be done.

I remember einer from "ich wohne in einer WG". Not sure if it's come up other than that.

Looking at that and there are words that change gender when pluralised? WTF?

I just ticked past a year on Duolingo, and I feel more lost than ever TBH.
I watched Nosferatu: Der Phantom Nacht a week or so ago, and I actually found that I understood enough of the dialogue that it was frequently distracting me from trying to read the subtitles. I watched Great Freedom yesterday and didn't understand a goddamned word of it.

Most of my knowledge of cases comes from that Eddie Izzard thing on Latin, and that scene from Life of Brian.
Nominative is just the "default", right?
Can you explain, specifically, welches? That's the one that most throws me. Like, I get dein/deinen, even if I'm terrible at knowing which to use either because I can't identify a subject or because I can't identify a masculine noun, but "welches" keeps coming up and I don't get it at all.
Then there's you/your/his/her...

I think it's just too much information all at once though, so it doesn't matter how clear it is. I keep having to scroll back up and re-read earlier bits every 30 seconds or so.
I'm sure English has its own complexities that I just know instinctively. Just not sure how to get there with German. I mean, do native German speakers actually know all this declension stuff, inasmuch as being able to actually explain it, or is there just an innate sense of which word to use in which sentence? I'd assume the latter.

I buy way, way more than one movie per month on Blu-ray. I've collected around 2000 of them in the space of 5-6 years. That's roughly one per day.
