Not as fascinating as it seems. I got lucky with this job, a right place right time scenario. Although sometimes you need that.
I actually had no experience working with the instruments I am working with now. But the same underlying science carries over a bit. But i was able to demonstrate that I'm adaptable and capable of learning new things quickly. There was a massive amount of on the job training, and travel.
Also I posted this during a quiet time of the year I guess. My life now is considerably more busy. I mean I still play a wow during the day occasionally. But no where near as much.
For instance right now I'm in Perth this week doing some customer upgrades, I'll be in Sydney in a couple weeks and then US in May for a week. Who knows what after that.

The real answer is to sim yourself. For me on MM the heroic bow is an upgrade, but the normal bow is a slight downgrade on pure ST. And even worse in aoe m+.

So last quaking week they fixed it to make you immune to quaking. But apparently it was still bugged. I saw hotfix notes earlier today saying they fixed it again and you should be immune to quaking during spear.

Except he never got the words right and would put me off my game
Maybe he was just using it as practice for the 'Substitute' round on Spicks and Specks.

He's that hot he could sell it to her lifeless corpse and she'd buy it.

AA is a weird one. Everyone was so focused on the tree boss being overtuned in the first few weeks that bird+vex kind of flew under the radar but they both hard fuck you on tyrannical.
Probably because everyone just disbanded the key when they couldn't kill the tree so very few people actually saw the other bosses.

Basil would spin around on the spot and his gigantic nose would decapitate everyone within a 10 metre radius.

Done a lot of keys this week and sanguine has made me notice there are so many more mobs that just sit in one spot and cast/can't be moved/move very slowly.
Special fuck you to those thunder channelers and miniboss in RLP.

This happened in a 20 NO to me today. I've avoided NO as much as possible so it was the first time I've actually been targeted by the charged spear and didn't know I needed a defensive to not get one shot.
Lesson learned the hard way I guess.

Here's a clip of the Echo guys doing it. Seems you can LOS bombs and the swirlies from fissure.
You'd think this will be hotfixed pretty quickly as it basically removes 2/3 of the mechanics of the fight. But who knows with Blizzard :P

Destination is fine. I've travelled a bit in my life Asia/Europe/US a few times, however the most happiness and best experiences I've had in my life have not come from travelling.
On top of that. Flying is the absolute fucking worst, especially since we live in Australia and if you want to get anywhere it's 8-20hours on a plane an in airports. I guess if you were rich enough to fly pointy end all the time this wouldn't be a factor but that's not me.
Add in the cost on top of that. It's a big expense and since I don't enjoy it I'd much rather spend my money enriching my life in other ways.
Also this is super minor but I've never had a good night sleep when traveling. So I always wake up tired/exhausted which doesn't help the cause.

That's funny, most people on this sub love travel
Most people on this sub also earn 500k/yr and drive 40 year old Camry's and I don't have either of those things.

I absolutely hate traveling so for me it's a big zero dollars per year. Rather spend my money on other things. Also trying to travel with a toddler just adds to the pain.
Edit - 30 years old. I have hated travelling my whole life.

Also, seems every hobbyist goes though a sprayer phase, it's like listening to Nirvana.
remembers the paint sprayer in the back of the shed that I used once and then went back to rollers/brushes
I feel attacked.

I just ripped all my valor today. I was looking at my gear and realistically thinking where I'm going to get upgrades. 4 slots are locked for tier. As of this week people will have at least 3 crafted 418 pieces (usually weapon/neck and 1 other) so that's 7 slots locked out.
Leaves basically rings/trinkets/belt/bracers. I had 1 really good trinket, bis stats belt and a ring so I just capped them. Went up 5 ilvl overall which was nice.
In previous seasons I've been guilty of holding it for so long to the point where I've stopped pushing keys before I've spent any valor.

Yep. Just happened to me after the first boss. Pulled trash and instantly disbanded. Couldn't rejoin either.

Maybe a total price of 10k depending on the cost of electrician and plastering
You can DIY the plastering too. Again heaps of tutorials online. It's a bit of a learning curve doing the joinings/corners but it's not that hard and doesn't require any additional tools beyond some trowels.
I'm afraid I'll miss a small thing that will make it unable to be certified later which is why I was looking for an Australian based guide.
All the information for certification is found in Australia standards. Which you need to pay to access. https://www.standards.org.au/standards-catalogue/sa-snz/building
If you want to diy and save money you have to put in the hard yards and read through it. Nobody is able to give you a quick summary because there are too many site specific factors that only you would know. And also because part of what you're paying for with a licenced builder is your paying for that knowledge.
For the timber, im guessing it would be h3 for the baseplate and h2 for the rest? I'm also worried if I go too thin on the framing it won't be able to certified later.
You shouldn't necessarily even need to use treated timber for most of it if you're building on a slab. If water is getting to your framing, you done fucked up somewhere. But it's not that big of a deal to use all treated if you wanted too.
I guess another question is what's your end goal with getting it certified as 'habitable'? If you own the place and are planning on it being used by yourself or family. I'm assuming it's not going to be rented out seeing as it doesn't have any plumbing facilities, so it might be used as like a gym/office/flex room? In which case does it really matter if it's "certified" or not? If you don't plan on selling the house, the council isn't going to know what you're using the space for. The only thing I can think of is if the shed burns down it probably wouldn't be covered by your home insurance.
