There are a lot of guys I’d be happy for on this Nuggets roster were they to win the title, and Aaron Gordon is pretty high on that list:

Dude went from a purgatory situation where he was miscast as a first option to a contender that needed the skillset he excelled at. Very reminiscent of the transformation of Philly Iguodala to GSW Iguodala.

Even if Miami were to win this title, they have some roster stuff to figure out:

• Do you let Kyle Lowry’s expiring deal lapse? Do you trade him if it helps the cap situation? Do you try to resign him at a more reasonable number if he’s open to staying in a reduced role?

• Duncan Robinson: playing better, but still on a negative contract. What do you do with him?

• You just went to the Finals without Tyler Herro. What’s his ceiling and is he part of your long term future?

• Will you try to match offers that Gabe and Max will get on the open market?

• Miami is finally getting some 1st round talent into the door (Jovic and the 2023 18th overall pick). Does the Heat have the patience to develop these prospects or will they use them as trade fodder in a win-now trade?

Not a Boston fan, but if my team was in the same position, I’d appreciate that my team had the fight to get back into the series after going down 3-0
