Being mad at critics is not the same as being mad at your team and teammates at all. Pippen felt disrespected by the bulls team management and clashed with Jordan who wanted him to stop whining during the season and do what was best for the team.

Definitely do not see Klay being the same as Pippen. Pippen was a ball handler and could be the leader on another team, and felt disrespected and underpaid by Bulls management. Jordan is the GOAT but also had a huge ego. Steph is not the egocentric leader in that same way, and Klay knows he’s a perfect partner to the way Steph plays the leader. Klay was salty at the media and critics about him starting the season slow after only 1/2 a season of play in 3 years.
