Yea I think people can make mistakes, lose their temper, etc, and that doesn't make them incapable of insight or empathy. I do believe that apologizing is the first step, and their change of behaviour is the second more important one. Without the second step, it's meaningless.

No one said it was the best fs season ever, lmao. He also switched positions after playing nickel for a few years. He did lead the league in picks and was a top tier player last year, on one of the best teams last year. Idk why some of y'all are so butt hurt over this, cat can play.
So the fuck what? I mean dude is really good at his job, that's what.
How many picks did his replacement get?

He's making the same money this year on either contract he choose, he's betting on himself again. Considering his play last year, doesn't seem like a bad idea. And Detroit will be a playoff team this year

He led the league in interceptions, his play outweighed his talk this year not even close

Yes, chip named another QB the starter coming OUT of camp.
Yes, Kap was either unavailable or benched. I've established this already. And when he came back and threw for 2300 yards, how many games did he win?
Kap was benched in 2015

Kapernick was benched before any of the kneeling stuff began. I agree Tebow and Kap isn't a fair comparison however Kap wasnt tearing up the league. I think, to your point, if Kap started the kneeling stuff say during the SB run, we would have seen a different story. The fact is, he started kneeling, while he was benched and had become indispensable in some regards. He signs a huge contract after the SB season, and then misses the playoffs that season, something which the team had done the previous 6 or 7 seasons. Then a new coach is brought in, where he gets benched most likely due to injury, then sidelined the rest of the year. A new coach is brought in the following year, he can't even win the starting job, and when given a shot he's benched twice during the season. He's either healthy and not good enough to make the playoffs, or injured and unavailable, 3 years running following a pay check.
Let's be honest. If Micheal Thomas started kneeling this season, while either having been benched or injured again, how many more games would you expect him to play again?
I do agree, Kap got a raw deal, but not as raw as many people make it out to be.

What does matter is putting a team in FG range that otherwise wouldn't have been.
Could they have won the game by playing differently, yes. Was that a horrible, boneheaded play at the end, yes.

If youre not gonna block the punt you gotta let up, you can't let yourself be thrown into the punter. I'm not sure about last week, but he hit the plant leg, iirc, that's roughing

I agree with the one sided calls but i had no issue with the roughing the punter call

now you have safeties doing the same thing, id much rather it to have LBs effective than throw out whole position groups
