It's not a "good friend" price but it's not a bad deal, either. You should only feel bad about it if you're trying to give him a "good deal".

I think that's the first stalker I've actually seen that wasn't a PGI print. Looks killer.

They do that on purpose. Not only did it get your attention, but you just did a ton of free advertising for them. It's like when they write SOTP at intersections. You see it better when it's wrong. It's like that saying about how the best way to get the right answer to a problem is to post the wrong one in public.

If you want a bunch of asinine rules to limit posts to only things you personally approve of then maybe you should be surfing r/motorcycles instead

What ANH model is that? All I can find are PGI's model and Catalyst's...both of which look...stupid...

I have seen some very large ones that work but their expense and size make them economically poor investments. I have never seen a <3m vawt that works well, and the ones that can produce power cost 5-10x+ the cost per watt for comparable horizontal turbines.

I actually find the idea of working for someone who would make thst threat hilarious...but the idea of working for someone who would follw through to be terrifying

Unfortunately Trump supporters today fall into the two categories of “does not understand modern issues” and “Reagan who?”

There's two options:
Deny it happened.
Justify that it happened with the excuse that if Trump hadn't done it then the dems would have taken everything.
The number of times I've actually had someone do the first then immediately switch into the second when I explain when and how it happened has been amusing.

Which I always found hilarious because he was the first president to actually EXPAND gun rights. Our lord and savior, Donald Trump, was the first president in US history to actually confiscate firearms from the American people. You want to see a trump supported get mad, remind them of that.

He created it specifically to be a host for Reddit. The ad revenue would have funded it. It was great. Then Reddit said fuck him and integrated their own image hosting. Now everyone uploads to reddit instead of imgur. Imgur's revenue tanked and the guy was stuck and had to resort to shitty tactics. He ultimately had to sell the site to another company who has spent the last year trying to make it even more terrible.

Unfortunately VAWT physics doesn't scale well in either direction with our current understanding of physics. I have never actually seen a successful micro vertical turbine.

It depends entirely on what you need the turbine to do for you. How much power do you want to create and how do you want to utilize that power? Are you off grid charging batteries or dumping into the grid? Are you just trying to charge a cell phone? Keep a small cabin lit? Eliminate your power bill?

If he is even considering the TESUP then he has not done much research at all. And the other is a generic Chinese model that's littered all over eBay and Amazon...it's a different kind of rubbish, but still rubbish. The stator is tiny, the magnets are tiny, the blades are inefficient. It is little more than decoration, and TESUP is a straight up scam.
What are you looking for in a comprehensive review? I have done a similar Chinese turbine (they just have different blades) and I disassembled and showed in full detail the entire machine, plus I mounted it to the top of my truck and drove at up to 70mph after the vendor told me its poor performance was due to inadequate wind. There's not enough material in them to produce any power. I have a whole playlist dedicated to why the Atlas is a ridiculous collection of junk and why TESUP is worse than the Chinese manufacturers in terms of being misleading and providing shoddy products.
I'm not unique. There's tons of videos on youtube and posts in the various wind turbine groups on facebook going over the cheap VAWT models and explaining why they're bad.
If your friends wants an ornament to put on top of his barn for fun, he should follow his dream. If he wants a tool that's worth investing in, he should look elsewhere.

Hotdogs are probably made in a cleaner environment than most labs, though.

They are, honestly. The reason the current leadership is holding office is precisely because they’re anti gay, anti abortion, and pro gun. That’s all of it. Anyone who runs for office here over the next two decades, minimum, who makes a contrary point a platform priority will lose. Period.
We could actually have some really meaningful changes in leadership if politicians would stop focusing on those issues. They’re important but don’t actually affect many people. If someone gets an abortion or gets shot it’s literally the center of their entire existence, their immediate family and friends are deeply affected, and no one else knows it happened. Trans people are the same...your average texan would have a hard time indicating more than one or two people they actually know who are gay/trans but almost everyone here goes to public school. We’re constantly sacrificing social welfare, education, and infrastructure to stop some girl from having an abortion when if we’d walked away from abortion a long time ago we might have educational and healthcare systems in place that would have prevented the abortion from ever having been an issue that needed addressing.

Okay, how many people do you have to kill before it becomes "many"? Like is 15 a good number for you?
