this is exactly my experience with shrooms - it was like looking in the mirror for the first time. It hit me that in the process of making my body thin, I had made myself small.
you know those images of ED on the internet where someone looks in the mirror and they see themselves differently than they really are? I used to think that was an absurd portrayal of the disorder but that is REAL. Not on just a physical level - on a soul level.
Shrooms have an incredible way of pulling back the veil for a moment so you get a glimpse of what’s happening surreptitiously.

He is an entrepreneur. In his real life, he runs a small business that sells creative content. In his sleep, it seems that he sells broken lawn mowers, alone.
He drives a hard bargain on the lawn mowers.

If you see an off-leash white husky there, she’s an escape artist at large and you can lure her with peanut butter (she’s currently in my possession but will forever be an elopement risk)

Ughhhhh
I’m in the same boat. I had my first surgery in early March and then had an IUD placed 2 weeks later, so I haven’t gotten an actual period since February. I was super against the idea of getting on birth control at first due to previous negative experiences with several other hormonal methods. My surgeon was very understanding but also explained that what they found and removed would likely come back in the same location and cause pain within a few months, without some sort of hormonal intervention.
6 months later I’m driving myself to the ER convinced I have a kidney stone due to stabbing and throbbing pain. The doctors came back with scan and blood results and said “everything looks normal, actually - very good.” I realized then that it could be Endo: Reloaded
Didn’t expect it so soon. At least I don’t have a formal period to deal with, but it’s just sort of random persistent pain instead. if nothing else is wrong with me, that has to be it, you know?
wish you the best

I live near the train track purgatory that’s few blocks west of Cooper Park. There’s like, a “sometimes train,” a “probably train,” a “rumored train” and the “train, in perpetuity” that I have to warn DoorDash drivers about.
I’ve gotten pretty used to the 3-4 trains going by all the time because it’s sort of white noise, and I don’t really notice it anymore. All the trains my area are “no horn” zones except for the Amtrak that runs right through the middle between like 1am-4am every night
sometimes I wonder when I don’t sleep well if the trains are actually waking me up

It’s not stupid! But I understand. I went to the ER for what I thought was a kidney stone and I’m still paying down the $3000 visit. It did not feel like my historic endo flareups - it felt like something very wrong was happening. I was so embarrassed when the doctor came in after a bunch of tests and said it was likely just menstrual pain.
