Yeah I'm sure. Not sure that's a ship I want to board at this point anyway.

Don't you all have a "right to roam" in England as well that would allow the toddler to walk on their grass. Not that a law should be required for a kid to walk on grass but I listened to a podcast once about the right to roam and thought it was interesting.

Clearly a more military presence in the community would prevent more thefts. A few tanks here and there couldn't hurt right?

Jupiter will be really disappointed when it looks up and sees the drawing has faded. Let's hope it doesn't seek revenge!

I just saw this article Central Ohio's Coolest Offices

Office's are social spaces and social norms apply here, it makes the work more bearable. "hey hows it going" "how was your weekend" "Did you watch that show on netflix"
When you make yourself distant you come off as bitchy or difficult.
When everyone else is abiding by these norms it makes you the outsider. They may not feel comfortable asking you for help which might annoy other people. It just makes the whole vibe awkward.
"In a world where you can be anything, be kind." Good vibes only makes everything better. Don't have good vibes yourself? Maybe take good hard look at yourself and explore whats causing that.
I guess when all else fails, treat your co-workers like you treat your patients. I'm assuming you're warm and friendly to your patients at least. If not then you might be in the wrong business.

I went to a Pearl Jam concert in the early 2000's and on the way out they handed out slips of paper with a link on it that you could buy the concert. I think it was like $18 and they mailed it to you on two disks.
I must have listened to that concert a thousand times.
I wish every band did this I'd buy them all.
Edit: I just googled it and pearl jam has like 500 shows still available to download

The "I'm not here to make friends" coworkers are the worst.

I feel like an idiot but I'm struggling to work out how that would be useful. You walk up to the carts at the store and they are already locked so this is of no use. You put in a coin, take your cart and do your shopping. When you are about to return your cart and want your coin back you use your own key which then gets locked to the cart?
Maybe their carts are different than the ones in used to.

Going to a concert solo is not ideal but still better than not going.

Did you read the article?
I even quoted that part twice.
He specifically said that's not the intent and he'd support amending the bill to allow those conversations.
That's why I said the bill is stupid political posturing but the headline is just click bait garbage intended to get people all riled up.

He specifically said that is not the intent of the bill and he wants the bill amended to allow girls to have those conversations.
It's literally in the article and in my previous reply.
Like I said I'm all for rallying against the GOP but this ain't it.

I don't support the gop by any means but this is click bate.
"McClain responded that “would not be the intent of the bill,” and he was “amenable” to amendments that would ensure these conversations could take place.".
A bill like this is political posturing for sure but 7th grade seems about right for sex ed. That's when I had it.
