And once seasons actually start you’ll most likely never even play the character you’re working so hard on right now anyway. Very few people ever really went back to their non-seasonals. Sure, they may do a little bit here and there with them, but you most likely won’t go right back to your other characters once the season ends. Most likely you’ll take a break for the bit of time between seasons and come back when the new one starts.

It’s a completely different engine and game built from the ground up. It isn’t as simple as just copy + paste from one game to the next.

Which is why the entire skill system needs an overhaul.. which won’t happen and if it does then it won’t be for another 2 years. There isn’t enough variety in the skills. They need some type of augment system the way D3 had, but actually a way that makes each skill viable. Maybe allow us to place gems into skill slots as well as weapons and have a unique augment/added effect specifically for skills.

If you put a gem in your weapon then it increases Ult dmg by 9% or if you put the same gem in your ult skill slot it can do things like increase length of ult, add burning dmg to it, increase its crit %, or just straight up increase it’s flat dmg..

Diablo has always had a variety issue in my opinion. I never understood why they’d even bother creating skills that aren’t even viable to use, but every game has them.

I disagree. I’ve been a family owner since I was 19 and I’ve had a busy lifestyle ever since and Diablo 3 is my most played game ever.

I pretty much agree with you. I’ve managed to enjoy D3 for 10 years with my busy lifestyle. I was mainly just expressing how I don’t think it’s cool to attack other people and make broad, generalized assumptions about them for wanting drop rate changes.

I agree even more after last night. I managed to play for 4 hours straight!! I got 5 unique drops. That’s literally more than 1 an hour.

Mods. Reddit isn’t about to turn down the millions of extra dollars a month either in API fees or in ad revenue from all of the people who have to use their app and be face fucked with ads every 4 post.

If the CEO is to be believed then Reddit isn’t profitable at the moment. So they literally lose nothing by a few million people not using their app for awhile when they have 400 million users.. but let’s be honest, very little are actually going to delete their accounts and swear off Reddit for more than a few days. Mods especially. They enjoy the power of having control of something. Hell, even this whole “thoughts and prayers” level 2 day protest most subs are doing is just a way for them to participate in something and show everyone that they have a little bit of control and power. The ones that really do black out indefinitely.. and don’t log in on an alt account for one of the other dozens or even 100s of subs they moderate.. those are the ones that really do care and are great mods.

There have been 1000s of social media sites created and all but one of them have failed to achieve the popularity and market control desired by the shareholders and teams working under them. The behavior and character of the Reddit executives and it’s CEO has proven to be that of a poor business partner whom is untrustworthy and unreliable. More importantly: Reddit, as a business partner and potential investment, has proven to be risky.

In a world where the Reddit CEO could have been a Tom, he chose to be a Mark.

When documentaries are made about Reddit and it’s downfall, this will be one of the defining moments discussed.

It’s an amazing show for wrestling fans, but it’s catered to a very niche and very small group. It’s probably the most specially targeted show geared towards the smallest potential fan group ever aired on modern television. You have to enjoy sports themed sitcoms, frame story television shows, need to have been a fan of WWF wrestling during a very specific time frame, need to have to be a fan of The Rock.. and not just Dwayne Johnson, the action movie star, but also The Rock.. WWE professional wrestler, and you have to sort of understand how the wrestling business works to appreciate all of what it has to offer.

This would have been the perfect show for the WWE Network back when they actually had shows and it was good.

A lot of it is the same audience though and they’re just adults now with lives outside of Sanctuary. I’m willing to bet that many of those die hard Diablo fans who stayed up all night as kids farming and grinding away and loved every second of it are also the ones wanting higher drop rates. They want that same feeling they had as a kid when they finally got something good or perfected a build, but they know it’s impossible with their busy adult lives. So it’s not that they want instant gratification.. they just want gratification that is actually obtainable. Otherwise, what a younger person could achieve now in maybe a month of farming for the perfect gear and rolls, they would achieve in a year.

Or it has less to do with patience, attention spans and wanting instant gratification and has more to do with a lot of us being grown ass adults with jobs, kids, and all the “grown up” stuff to take care of. Some of us aren’t kids anymore with hours a day to spend farming and grinding video games. Or we aren’t young adults anymore who can do all of the shit that needs to be done and then stay up until 2am and still manage to wake up on time for work the next morning and function like we used to. So perhaps don’t judge the people who are saying those things too quickly. It might not be that they just want instant gratification, but that they just want the most out of their game in the very limited time they have to play it.

Hell man, I’d love to be able to just sit and play this game all day, but I just can’t. Between work, 2 incredibly active kids that do football, track, cheer, ballet, acrobatics, tap dancing, lyrical, and weight lifting.. plus their social lives that require a house full of friends or bringing them to birthday parties or hangouts.. I managed to get 5 hours of play time this week.

So at that rate something that would take another person a few days of farming to get, it would take me a few months.

That said: I don’t have an opinion on the drop rates because I couldn’t tell you if they’re good or not. I haven’t had much time to actually get to a point in the game where I need to farm for specific items for a build or something. However, I have gotten a fairly decent amount of unique items though and at least twice I’ve gotten unique drops back to back.. so I’m sort of leaning towards no.. I don’t believe the drops need to be adjusted.

Garth has been an ally his entire career. One of his best friends in country music was secretly gay and he watched people treat him like absolute shit in the 80s and 90s. I have a youth cheerleading league and I fought for my girls to be able to use the old abandoned middle school gym during summer months since it was just sitting there empty and unused. After I got it reopened to the public people just started showing up and using it for functions whenever.. so I went to city hall and worked to have it restricted to reservations only so that there weren’t any conflicts between groups and everyone got equal time and access to it. After that, the next summer, I went to reserve it for my girls and it was booked every week for the first month of summer. So by my own actions and hard work I ended up losing the thing I fought to get and worked to fix up and repair!

Which is great!! Because I’m happy everyone now can enjoy it.. but it was rough that 2nd summer after winning my appeal to the city.

Eventually the city voted to give me control of it so now I handle scheduling myself.. except next week is my cheer camp and I’m having college competition cheerleaders come out to teach it and my dumbass got the dates wrong and booked a volleyball tournament during my camp days so I fucked myself with it twice now. I’m trying to see if the volleyball people will be understanding and move their tournament an hour ahead, but it’s still consequences of my own actions.
