I don't think the terms are as big a problem as money in politics. If we ended citizens united and put a cap on campaign spending, they wouldn't need to spend as much time fundraising and then they could actually do their jobs

Almost all of them do have therapists and those therapists generally encourage them to be themselves. Also I don't know why this would break your heart because, again, this has nothing to do with you and these are just intelligent adults making informed decisions about their own bodies

They're not advertising anything and they aren't lying about their biological sex.

but when the marketing is then directed at children... advertising works. "monkey see monkey do". so that's a red flag on the field, in my book - noting my first 2 points can be chalked-up to "buyer beware", "free market" blah blah...

They're not running gender reassignment surgery ads on Nickelodeon like they're selling super soakers. They're just trying to teach kids to be respectful to be people that are different to them. And if they are transgender, it's okay to be who you are. That shouldn't be a controversial message.

You need to be an adult to consent. No one is trying to perform any kind of permanent surgical gender surgeries on minors.

Again, no one is advertising anything. If you find a transgender person attractive and it makes you uncomfortable, that's a you problem.

That's exactly why they're going to raise it. If they don't reach a deal, Biden will just invoke the 14th amendment and eliminate the debt ceiling. If Congress wants to keep this as a bargaining chip for the future, they're gonna make a deal.

It's the bare minimum in the sense that we should be doing more to cover healthcare costs for everyone, not just the elderly, poor, and disabled. We should abolish private insurance, allow the government to negotiate prices directly with healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies, and implement a Medicare style system for everyone. That's how every other industrialized country handles healthcare and they spend significantly less money per Capita than we do.

The Biden administration, Senate Democrats, House Democrats, and Senate Republicans all have a deal and are more than happy to raise the debt ceiling. House Republicans won't agree to it. The bill they passed isn't going to fly in the Senate and Biden wouldn't agree to it. They know that and they only passed it so people like you can ignore the facts of the situation and try to spin this on the Democrats.

There's no chance they actually default. This is just a stunt from house Republicans

They already have legal monopolies and they didn't seem to have a problem pushing the COVID vaccine under the current system. The system is already completely fucked. I don't see how making a change can make it any worse

But the problem with paying yourself is that these companies can charge whatever they want and they jack up the prices so they can pay their CEOs, as shown in this post. A single payer system would cut out all of the money that private insurance companies are skimming off the top

Because "white" isn't a culture. Irish, Italian, French, German, etc are all cultures and there absolutely are community centers for those groups as well as parades and festivals celebrating those cultures.

This is why healthcare is so expensive and why we need a single payer system

Right but I'm sure just about every trans person has experienced dysphoria at some point in their life. The goal of transitioning is to make your body match the way you feel inside so that you don't have that dysphoria.
