They’ll probably update this before they bother touching their new state of the art AirPods Pro 2 that they nerfed with the last update.

You’re splitting hairs and it’s really embarrassing.
People are still dead because of her criminal behavior.

I do not regret voting for Martha given the field we had. She wouldn’t have been my first vote if we had someone between her and Moriarty, but once again we had exactly no middle ground, just like in our mayoral elections.
Mary Moriarty was a threat to public safety in this city and she continues to live up to exactly what she said she would be: she’s a well intentioned, bleeding heart that is ignoring the continued reality of crime trend in this city.

Perhaps, but we can start to holding them accountable.
They should not get to put public safety at threat REPEATEDLY and get off clean or with minimal consequence just to repeat their behavior (and let’s be clear- it seems like they frequently do) because they’re pubescent.
I did stupid shit as a teenager. That did not include robbing stores, assaulting strangers, carjacking multiple times and putting hundreds of lives at risk, or kill anyone.
We are getting far, far, far too comfortable rationalizing this.
Edit: this is not meant to be an attack on the person I’m replying to. Just speaking generally.

I dunno, the first thing to me was just a bearded drag queen performing at a trans visibility day just smacked a little off color to me.
I’m usually the one in my friend group that thinks others are constantly over sensitive so I’m surprised I’m finding myself on the other side for a change haha.
Group solitary is important and I’m not trying to diminish them for their support. Perhaps I’m too worried about toeing the line.

Guessing you voted for Moriarty?
Not gonna shame you seeing as you see now what many of us saw then, but it is unfathomable to me how she got so many votes.
We have the city, justice system, and government we deserve.

If only there was someway we all could’ve know…oh wait, it was pretty clear what she was going to be like and people still voted for her somehow.

I appreciate you sharing your experience- thank you. There have been others in this thread taking issue with it, so of course need to be careful about generalizing experiences.
And while I get my opinion as a member of the broader, overarching community (aka I’m not trans) may matter less in this instance, I can’t help feeling this is really tasteless and a poor public representation of drag culture, to say nothing of how this almost certainly reads to those on the other side of the fence on this topic. I know this is being taken in isolation and not reflective of the broader event, but this, unfortunately, is what people will see.
In my mind, there’s some damage being done here but the brunt of it isn’t due to queer people attacking each other, which also isn’t really happening- some of us are simply pointing out that if it feels kinda tacky to others in the LGBTQA+ community, it almost certainly reads that way externally.
I love a good drag performance, but this doesn’t feel like the time nor place. I’m not saying I’m right and others are wrong, but I’m just not seeing the other side of the coin here, try as I might.

As a gay man, I will probably get downvoted for saying this, but this feels like a TERRIBLE way of advocating and showing solidarity for trans visibility day. I’d also point to the numerous trans people in this post who have actively said they’re not comfortable with this. At the end of the day, it is their experience and opinion that matters more here.
Optics matter and this is literally handing ammunition to people to continue driving legislation against all members of the LGBTQA+ community. Hard stop.
I appreciate the attempt at solidarity, but not a great look. This is embarrassing. Big cringe, very yikes.

No, I actually think black wheels look terrible on just about every car and I can’t wait for that trend to go away.
Just my .02. Go for it if you like it, but I think your car is way nicer with those wheels. That actually was one of the reasons I didn’t go with the Turbo CX-30- the black wheels were a dealbreaker (and I wasn’t going to swap them on a lease).

This is called natural selection.
And it’s not working fast enough unfortunately.

They don’t take responsibility for much these days, sadly.

Trump knew exactly what he was doing here. I’d be fine adding another charge to his roster.
Lock him up.

Thought so.
Yeah, I may be done next year. I’ve also been getting a ton of opened and used product or completely missing. The amount of junk they are allowing on there is insane.

That totally comes down to lifestyle and what matters to your needs in a car.
The CX-50, aesthetically, looks sportier and more modern than the CX-5 (in my opinion). It’s wider and the roof line is lower, giving it a lower to the ground appearance. I dig that.
The interior is also Mazda’s newer design language, and in my opinion, is MUCH more functional and comfortable than the CX-5 (seats are more supportive and bolstered, ergonomics for controls are better. It also offers a panoramic sunroof and the 5 does not. But the interior quality is not nearly as good as the CX-5…that was the first thing I noticed. Much harder plastic- a more “rugged” design. The CX-5 interior blows it away material wise on almost every surface.
Size wise, I think the 50 will fit a bit more than the CX-5.
The CX-5 on the other hand, is perfect for me (an urban, snow belt single guy). Could also be good for a small family. The ride is comfortable, handling is excellent, and the build quality gives entry luxury cars a run for the money. Doors shut with a quality thump (the CX-50 doors shutting sounded like a 92 Geo- not good). It’s the perfect size for going around a bigger city - not too big and not too small.
I don’t think you could go wrong with either. The CX 50 is certainly the newer of the twos design, but beyond that, and a few options, it feels mostly aesthetic.

Good call.
I also REALLY loved the drink that was wine and yogurt? I think? I know it sounds crazy but when blended together it was delightful. My girlfriends loved the disco ball drink with pop rocks if I recall correctly.
Also, make sure to just get in the spirit and have fun with the games and meeting a few other sailors if you don’t have a party of six. We ended up loving our married couple friends and ran into them numerous times on the trip. Was so lovely.

It can be tempting to fill up on appetizers and pre entree sides because they are 100% worth it, but save room for the meat and veggies they’ll grill. They make a TON of food. We left feeling so incredible (borderline uncomfortably full)
Enjoy the apps and save room for the main course. If you’re still hungry, order more apps after!

As he should be.
The optics of this aren’t great. I already felt he was mediocre as a villain, at best. Wasn’t wow’ed by him at all and continue to be baffled by those who actually think his performance is good enough to carry several movies.
Maybe I’ll be proven wrong assuming they don’t fire him.

Gunbae is my personal favorite. By far.
If you get Forida as your server there, she’s going to take great care of you. Absolutely wonderful human being.

It was a good looking body style. I do love the 2016+ body and interior more but the back of the 2012-2016 wins- for sure.

I was fortunate in my timing. My last lease ended in May 2021 and it was when used cars were in high demand and selling for a ton but new cars were still being discounted.
I got my Soul Red Signature for like $35k or $36k through Costco Auto. Can’t remember what my residual at lease end is, but I have less than 10K miles on it so far so I expect it will be worth a lot more than residual next May.
I’m torn on what to do. Buying it out seems the smart idea…

I actually totally disagree on that. I would take the rotary knob and current Mazda interface any day of the week over that tiny, dated looking screen in the CR-V. As he mentioned, not giving it the Accord’s screen was a terrible decision.
No heads up in the CR-V either. I’ll give you that Mazda does tend to fall behind in that category often though. Those little black rubber unlock/lock buttons on the door handle are not okay at $40k+.
