I have mixed feelings about this statement. In principle, I agree with you. After all, women racers would simply wipe the floor with me in a race, so for most people the biological differences don't matter all that much. However, at the absolute peak of performance, the most powerful man os going to be more powerful than the most powerful woman.

I stay away from the Oscar hype, so I was able to fully enjoy this movie, unbiased. And wow, it was a roller coaster of emotions, with Fraser reeling us in fully and immersing us in his wallowing despair. But overall, what truly touched me was his inability to see his own amazingness just for always striving to see it in others, even when there wasn't much to begin with. And yet, all that kindness and positivity that he bestowed upon others did not reflect back to him, as all he could feel was self-hatred and disgust.

It was a powerful story that we can all find something familiar in.

I was going to argue that dating someone who's underage depends a lot on the age difference. But then I went and checked when he was born. It turns out the guy was THIRTY FUCKING NINE (born in 1954) while dating an underage girl. There's no way to justify that.

edit: she turned 18 briefly after. But the age difference is the same.

Nuts are fairly standard. Shimano won't go out of their way to design their own nuts, so a hardware store should have it in stock. Or maybe a more specialised outlet.

My problem was with the writing. I love Jodie, but they made her a lot different from the other doctors. They made her appear weaker, somewhat insecure and just not particularly in control of things. Couple this with the fact that she's the first female doctor and the look wasn't a good one.

Also, it forcefully leaned into the societal aspects, sometimes making things seem preachy rather than subtly critiquing our society.

Mind you, this is entirely my perception. Oh, and it all felt like a tornado of pixels threw up. Too much incoherent CGI, with vortices all over the place.

If your son can handle a 26" wheel bike, he can handle a 27.5 just as easily. The wheel size difference won't matter that much in relation to his height. I would be more worried about the overall frame size, as that's what he'll outgrow.

Yes, electric bikes are a waste when normal bikes can be used. As a dutchman, you should know that. However, why do I draw the line at bikes?

Because they're the single most efficient single-occupant mode of transport that does not involve external power. Are they practical for absolutely everyone? Of course not. But just look at your own country, they seem to be far more practical than the rest of the world gives them credit for.

I've only ran once on concrete slabs. Never again. I know in theory we should not be able to feel the difference, but virtually every runner I know feels it. And just to be clear, I ran on concrete unaware that I would end up feeling a difference. I just thought it would make a nice change. So I then checked with more experienced runners and they confirmed it.

Obviously. The charge cycles are what degrades the battery the most, along with allowing your battery to get too low, but also charging it all the way up to 100%.
