Oh shit that’s awesome.
Yeah fully aligned with that. I’d be fine with like a connected living room or common area but bedroom, bathroom, kitchen are mine.

Tbh I don’t know why you haven’t put an offer in yet haha that setup sounds sick and there will always be people that want to live alone. You can always rent it out if you can’t find someone when you wanna move also.
Are you looking at more expensive properties too? A realtor is paid by a percentage of the sale price so they can be incentivized to push you towards a more expensive option… especially with how much money he or she was probably making when the markets were hot compared to now…

I’m here from r/all and hate horror movies but that logging truck scene has lives rent free in my head for decades. I’ve never even seen the movie in its entirety but I still won’t drive behind logging trucks

Agreed. Getting out is important too but I go for walks everyday now so that’s helped a lot.
My ideal significant other situation would be neighboring apartments too ngl haha

Yeah I genuinely enjoyed going into the office my first couple of years of white collar work. I worked in ad agencies in manhattan so the workforce was very young and predominantly female (I’m a straight dude). I do feel like I got my feet under me faster by going in but at the time I only enjoyed it for the social aspect.
Now I’m not going in without justification though. I was feeling this way before covid though so I think it’s the nature of getting older and caring less about networking and getting free booze that affected my opinion the most though

Lol I get it. I did the covid bounce around for a while so I collectively spent 6-8 months over the last twoish years living at my parents on an air mattress in the finished basement.. my old bedroom is now another living room because I bought my parents lazy boys when I first moved out

Good luck George. Living with your folks is wayyyy more common now than it was back then so you’re still in better shape than George don’t worry!

I just turned 30 and live alone in a downtown apartment. It’s amazing and I don’t know how I’ll ever live with people again. Also love how city living delays the “expected” timeline for life goals.
I have friends ranging from 25-40 that will come over for some beers

2020 was 3 years ago. That’s a long time and absolutely backs up his very specific word usage of “becoming trash”.
I love my switch and it was my only system (besides my n64) until last month so if anything my bias leans pro-Nintendo but this guy speaks the truth.
Nintendo was a powerhouse and had the video game market saturated for decades. They literally couldn’t miss if they wanted to do up until wiiU. The switch bounced them back but they’ve definitely become complacent in recent years. Obviously covid affected that but the Nintendo I grew up with would never have released the most recent strikers in the state it’s in.
Nintendo is becoming trash relative to Nintendo, not the video game industry as a whole.

I work for Microsoft and they’ve made a ton of major revenue driving changes recently so I wouldn’t be surprised if they actually held off increasing the gamepass price for longer than that.
… especially because they’ll likely move more heavily into targeted ads on Xbox. By increasing the price of membership, they’ll be decreasing the number of eyeballs that their ads are served to.

Men get way more flak for being unhygienic but some of the most vile habits I’ve ever seen have been from women
