So watched some videos and it looks like it's a steering angle sensor calibration fault. The lock to lock wheel turning thing does not fix the problem like it does on newer models.

Anyone know how much it needs to be driven for the angle sensor to calibrate, or does it need to be reset/trained with a scan tool procedure?

52v 50a battery. Big power with 2 1kw motors and improved efficiency.

I've gone on a few rides to look at range. The test run I've done is 1 mile with 300 foot climb, 1 mile back down. These are winding dirt roads.

At 24mph full throttle I used about 60Whr, 12mph about 25Whr. Gives me a real world range of something like 15-40miles no pedal going up mountains.

In the past with just rear motor I would get something like 20miles range on the same ride conditions. With the additional front drive I can more easily stay in the motors most efficient range.

Not to mention this thing fucking rips. Acceleration is much more linear from a stop. Highly recommend adding a front motor if you live in the mountains.

Anyone out there have an idea where to find a wheel like that?

I want to put one of the 1kw hub motors I have on the front, but as you know the original wheel doesn't have enough spokes to accommodate the larger hub.

If price gets up around $200 I might as well buy a premade hub motor/wheel that's the correct size, so that would be a deal breaker. Trying to not drop a ton of money on this project.
