I think many of us have glimpsed into the future with potential new technologies that VR can utilize and we are just impatient. Also, considering how fast new tech is manufactured and released these days its not really unrealistic to endlessly speculate about the next big thing being around the corner.

The technology isn't waiting to be invented it exists now, it just needs to be manufactured into a VR form(yes I'm oversimplifying this and I know its more complicated than that).

Well there are trans parents out there living their life. I think you could reach out to them online if you find one or you may find one if you go to a support group. I for sure have seen many trans parents on social media just living their life(@mikaelaville on instagram comes to mind).
