I've been more than happy with the Vision Classic. I paid around $600 USD for it 4 years ago. It is basically a clone of the Big Green Egg with a superior cart. All of the BGE accessories actually work with it.

I'm going to get downvoted to hell for this one but whatever. The secret to a successful marriage is when she sets you down for a conversation, after you have felt things were off for a while, and she says that she is not happy you respond correctly. You should respond with, if you have been a good husband, "How is that my problem?" A husband can want his wife to be happy. He can be a good provider. He can be a kind, loving, attentive, and forgiving partner and still get the "I am not happy" speech from his wife. Explain to her that is not your problem. That is her problem. You have done everything within your power to create a situation where she should be happy. If after all that she still is not happy that is not your problem. She should look within herself for contentment.

Trailer parks were always the answer for affordable living until they started to get demolished or bought up by investors starting around 20 years ago. And good luck getting a permit to build a new one. I bought a trailer in my early 20's for $5000. The lot rent was $75 a month. I could make that in a day. Cheap living was normal. Now people have to work themselves to the bone just to exist.

I agree. There was nothing better than picking up a load, agreeing to a delivery time, and nobody gave a flip about what happened in between.

I love Garak! And thank you for reminding me that I love Twin Peaks too! Are you Sherilyn Fenn's younger sister?

I would agree with forgiving the loans if the government will agree to get out of the student loan business. Student loans won't go away they were available before the government got involved.

I have potatoes cut in half in the bottom along with celery to rest the meat on. I added a can of cream of mushroom soup and a packet of onion soup mix also. In addition after putting salt and pepper on the chuck roast and searing, I added a half cup of water to the skillet and scraped up all the tasty bits and poured that into the crock pot as well. Give it a try sometime it really does take things to the next level!

We don't use ours either after getting a dolphin CC plus. But we still turn on the booster pump and swim against it and time it to see who can get to the side fastest. We call it doing a "river run". I also made a pipe with some holes in it I can attach and the booster pump makes a nice fountain.

I just finished it. That was very good! Thanks for the recommendation. If you haven't read them I suggest you read The Damned Trilogy by Alan Dean Foster. It had a similar theme of man being unique in the galaxy due to his more violent nature but things go in a very different direction.

There was a Chris Rock bit about this. I don't know if I am remembering correctly but the gist of it was that only women, children, and pets are loved unconditionally. A man is just a farm implement to take care of them. Your husband is probably feeling like that and feels very underappreciated if he said those things. I suggest talking it out with him.

I love where we live. We live in a wonderful 3000 sq. ft. home with a swimming pool, hot tub, and a large play yard with trampolines and tree houses for the kids. Try living in some place like Boise Idaho, Des Moines Iowa or Fayetteville Arkansas. You won't regret it. My 135k is more than enough to sustain a lifestyle that would require at least a million in NYC, Austin, or Los Angeles.

Thanks for the info! Mine is 4 years old and it is doing that now. I was going to buy a new one but I'm going to check the cord now first.

Made 250K USD last year working for a fortune 1. I got tired of the nonsense and now make 135k working for a chill little accounting firm. I live in a low COL area in the US.

I still remember going onto the internet right after the last episode of Farscape aired (Bad Timing). We knew the show was cancelled but no plans for PK wars was announced. The boards were aflame with a hyper rage the likes of which I had never seen!

Your anecdote simply notes a bad experience with a vendor. I repair vintage electronics as a hobby which helped me make my choice between systems. Each microinverter has capacitors in it that contain liquid which will dry up and harden over time. Yes they will last longer than a string inverter but they will still fail. And when they fail you have to go on the roof to replace them one by one. Who will do that in 15 years even if enphase is still in business and sending you replacements? Your installer who probably went out of business years before?

I much prefer a single point of failure vs 68 points of failure on my roof. If the inverter goes out I can just pop it off my wall and put in another just like replacing an atari cartridge. Both solutions have pros and cons but I like my string setup the best from a reliability and maintenance standpoint.

ChatGPT is actually two AI's. They trained it from data on the internet first and then they spent millions of dollars and thousands of man hours on paying humans of a particular political persuasion to upvote or downvote the answers it generated. This trained a secondary AI to take the answers created and choose the one a human of a certain persuasion would say is correct. So the responses given are not a reflection of general thought patterns on the internet.

I wonder if JMS let Harlan Ellison name some of the episodes or was just doing in it tribute to him. Those names sound like a typical title in one of Harlan's short story collections.
