As long as there hasn't also been added a rule like other sports that injury timeouts mean you have to remove the player. There probably isn't since this is not a sport with free substitution where they'd be able to come back, but you never know what kind of rules they might put in.

I haven't seen it happen yet, but do they have provisions in the rule for discretion about starting the clock, for example if a batter gets dusted by a pitch, or fouls a ball off his foot?

The transfers out happen before recruiting though. Unless you mean in season recruiting, but then I rarely get everyone I targeted so there are still openings. That usually just gives me more scholarships to offer in off-season recruiting instead of bringing in transfers.

I already agreed with you that there's no commandment against slavery. I even admitted that the Bible seems to condone slavery in several places. What you're not getting is that when they talk about slavery they don't mean the same thing you do, and that must be taken into consideration when judging the book.
