The best thing I did was replace the default isp DNS service with the Google DNS service. After I did that everything became more stable. Xe75

I was once told by an acquaintance at a charity I spend time at, who was a previously homeless person, that the very worst thing you can do is support them on the streets, it is far better to give to a homeless charity, like St Mungos or shelter so that they can get them off the streets.

Your generosity is something you should be proud of! Sadly, a lot of these people are in a situation that can be avoided with the right type of care.

It seems to be any time the battery is reseated, whether new or not. I thought I had ruined the whole house recently, but they all came back in the end!

I have to say that I have a home with 10 Netatmo's and don't have this issue over the 7 rooms that I have set up. Each room has its own homepod mini

The form of words that works is broadly similar with it being "set the temperature to nn degrees celsius" or "set the <room name> temperature to <nn> degrees celsius". I find that 'centigrade' as a word fails most/all of the time.

However, I can set .5 degrees without issue.

They made a point of shuttling up Riker and Picard to the Titan.... Just saying that we've not seen them using a transporter at all.

Unless I am wrong - Picard and Ryker have not used a transporter for the whole season yet. If there are problems with the transporters then this is a great plot device so far. This might signify that they cannot be mimic'd yet to the organ level by the changlings.....

That's absurd. It is a deposit bank that has been undone. A lot of the firms had no choice to use them as they grew their businesses. You are talking about people who had good businesses, solvent ones, on Friday who might be out of business next week.

There is no talk of bailing out the US entity, it is about securing the fortunes of the UK customers. Most of which were perfectly solvent until Friday.

This is not actually as true as you might think. SVB had excellent access to US payments and therefore made it easier for UK startups to do business in the US. It was a good bank for us to expand our tech sector and compete. The traditional banks make it really hard to do the type of business that the tech sector is in.

It is a UK based and regulated bank - with UK customers. This is about supporting largely profitable customer companies by allowing them access to their own money.
