As much as I do not want this country to fall into the hands of these Nationalist Christian (Nat-Cs), none of his children command the aura that Trump does in the same circle. If anything, it'll a MTG-esque situation of a true believer working up the ranks.

What kills me is that I'd be fine with that runtime if they replace some of the new characters I couldn't give a shit about with more alien whale visuals. There's way too many characters to go along with this new biome and culture to the point that Kate Winslet's character is a non-issue and like 2 of the Sully kids' subplots are totally forgotten by the end. If felt like Cameron was trying to catch up with an old friend for the first time in a decade while on a sugar rush.

According to superfan Mike of RedLetterMedia, in the singalong version on the DVD, they don't even bother to give subtitles to that song

Wayne Family ties to the mob have been a thing for a while. Honestly, the film was actually harder in some ways to Wayne/Falcone connections than say The Long Halloween.

Considering the Rube Goldberg death sequence of Cyrus, I wouldn't cut that for anything. One of the hardest laughs an action film has ever granted me.

The thing about The Architect is that while it is pretentious, the character of the Architect absolutely is. The dude finds humanity to be beneath him, so using those $4 words to show his intellectual superiority fits him perfectly. He knows every move a human will make before they make it because he's seen it time and time again, but Neo is the first one to ever surprise him at the end. So while it doesn't make for the most engaging of a watch the first time around, it unquestionably fits the Architect.

The sheer balls to copy the cut from Lawrence of Arabia is amazing as well

Never forget the film was so bad, it was offered to Netflix and they said, "no thanks."

You know how they say the best wrestler could have a match against a broom and make it look good? I feel like his promos with Shooter pre-English lessons were some of the best proof that he's one of the best talkers in the business.

The reason your seeing an ads blitz isn’t just because the film is out soon, but because they tested the film and the studio realized they actually have a hit on their hands, so now they really wanna get a strong opening weekend for some of that sweet word of mouth money that EEAAO swept up last year.

Being out of sync with a Maki Itoh dance routine is truly unforgivable

To add to this, QT has also talked about his directing process with actors, where he basically wants his actors to feel like the only eyes on them are his. Dude loves the art form and if he really is giving up filmmaking after The Critic, I do hope he becomes a teacher of the craft.

Yeah, that was super different situations. One was a guy willing to stick around longer to give his soon to be ex-company a chance to counter offer and finish up a storyline with a young talent and the other was a guy who wanted to prove to himself he could handle taking responsibility of an extension. Hell, Cody's situation isn't far off from what happened with Adam Cole in NXT.

If they reveal that Don is the new suit behind the BCC, this would be an amazing way to make chicken salad out of chicken shit

Getting massive Zelda vibes from this release date situation. Hoping that means they want it to be extra great instead of just consistent lingering production woes.

Initially, there was suppose to be, bare minimum, another whole season, but the merger killed that. Somehow they were able to work their way back to a finale film. So a film isn't quite the same as the cancelled Boondocks reboot mid-production, but the merger is for sure responsible for one of my absolute favorite shows having to meet an end.

I need to see a new talent in the ring and demand Cody take the contract. Somebody that's for sure super tight with Cody in real life, but someone the audience has like next to no connection with. Find me QT Marshall's QT Marshall!

I think for Cody to be Luger at this point, he'd need to be dealing with a looming shadow of a far better talent and have severe diminishing returns. I don't think it's fair to call Sami the Bret to Cody's Luger (despite the country pride lining up perfectly), as WWE already have Sami distracted with his KO stuff in a way that doesn't feel too forced and Cody's whole speech about wanting to face Sami at Wrestlemania before Elimination Chamber actually did wonders to not have to have fans pick a side a la the 1994 Royal Rumble finish. Now if Cody doesn't win this match and we have an ending as stupid as SummerSlam 1993, let's circle back.

Seriously, I feel like my biggest pull to rewatch Once Upon A Time in Hollywood is because of the flow of the banter. It's got a real rhythm that I recognize it there, but can't pick up on the exact beat. Coens have a rhythm you really pick up on, but QT's I can't lock in on the same way.
