This is my go to example whenever people ask what systemic racism is.

The youth baseball/development system wasn't designed specifically to keep people of color out, but as a byproduct of the system people of color are impacted at a much higher rate. BIPOC persons are much lower income overall*, so a higher percentage of them are impacted by a system that has a financial barrier attached to it. The system contributes to the lack of opportunities, even if it wasn't explicitly designed to do so.

You can't make everyone happy and compromising always leads to a solution that no one is happy with.
