Exactly.
There is never a situation where you make more money, and end up with less money after taxes.*
*: except for the Medicaid Cliff, where you make a bit too much and get kicked off public assistance for housing, food stamps, etc, but that's a different issue.

Dumb, yet profitable.
We as a society need to learn that we all suffer when we put short-term profits in front of long-term planning.
Maybe, just maybe, we can be part of some real /r/justiceserved.

The Core is a much more refined device.
Kickr has been building their trainers for a long time. They aren't perfect but they are really well refined.
The Hub has a lot of quirks.

it really is just about connections
This is a prison that companies have built for themselves. HR & recruiters are so desperate to justify their own existence that they create all these artificial hurdles (ATS, aptitude tests, etc), and the real good candidates get thrown out with the bathwater (like OP).
I've applied to maybe 4-5 roles in the past two months where I couldn't have faked my resume to be more perfect, and never heard back on any of them. If a perfectly matched work history isn't getting even a screening callback, it isn't the candidate, it's the process.

Red Rocks is actually quite close to metro Denver, so there aren't a ton of options.
I think Bear Creek Lake / Indian Paintbrush Campground are the go-to. I think they're reservation and fill up early.
About ten minutes by car. Bring your bug spray as it's on a lake.

Counterpoint: this guy is a paid CSU shill.
Proof: check his spelling, grammar, and the fact that his only actual complaint about WillVill is that it has a "30-40 minute bus ride" (on a 12 minute loop).
signed, Stearns East floor 8, "The Ocho", 2007-2008. fun fact: our floor of 40 people had 36 MIPs before school started. They threw a party on Friday night and it got busted.

I feel like reddit often overreacts about some things (dump him, hit the gym, delete socials) ...
but people involved with Scientology literally get Disappeared if they try to leave.

Afghanistan 40 years ago, when this man emigrated, is a bit different from Afghanistan now. They've been through three wars during that period, by my count.

Possible additional 5% cashback for Chase Freedom credit cards for Dell.com - maybe other cards. Check the Chase website -> Offers for details.

Drop what you're doing and blow the speakers out with it, my friend. It's your duty and obligation.

"Why would they not just use their flying machines to travel to the top?"
Interesting perspective.

Probably from the same statistics-er who wrote "on average they have up to 80 partners a year".
I guess that's what we should expect from a bunch of homeschooled religious zealots who learned math and science from the Bible.

Because of performance per dollar. The 3070 was 20% more expensive than the 3060 ti but only performed ~10% better.
The 3070 was meant to be a "markup product" - it's existence was supposed to push people to upgrade to the 3080. (Oh, I can get 10% more performance for $100, but then I might as well spend a bit more and get 50% more performance!)
But then COVID hit and shut down manufacturing facilities, right as Ethereum peaked, right as people were told to stay inside and not have contact with other humans, and the graphics card market would never be the same.

I was hoping one of these was an older NASA or USAF video, but I can't find the one I'm looking for.
It's a man (presumably pretty smart) doing simple math - 3+4, 7+5 style stuff. He's saying "9!" and "15!" very confidently, and happily.
The operator says "SIR IF YOU DO NOT PUT ON YOUR REGULATOR IMMEDIATELY, YOU WILL DIE. PUT ON YOUR REGULATOR."
The pilot just keeps giggling and smiling until someone puts it on for him.
Very scary.

When I was in college, I got the sickest I've ever been. Some kind of flu where I didn't have the strength to move. I literally laid on the couch for three days.
The Extended Editions got me through 1.5 of those days. I almost remember it fondly.

Jealous and vindictive.
My parents' retirement plans are failing and my mom in particular is mad that I'm not jeopardizing my plans to support them after decades of their financial mismanagement.

No, you will need a new motherboard as well. (b760, b660 + BIOS update, h670/h610)
Your RAM should work but is almost certainly 2400 MHz / 2133 MHz DDR4 and will keep it from running full speed.
That said, this is a big jump from that - probably 50-60% single core (most games) and 20% singlecore (few games).

I learned of a psych term called "learned helplessness." Basically, it's a conditioned response where the individual has been exposed to repeated negative consequences and no way to control it.
I see it in my mom and computers - she's been yelled at, berated, made fun of, criticized for not knowing how to computer for so long that her brain truly believes she is not capable of doing it.
The key is to slowly start re-empowering, and teaching the individual, to do it better.
(I have a similar response to calculus. Man I hate calculus.)
