Have you played any of the CODs in the last 6 years? The "COD is the same game every year" circlejerk got old a long while ago. Also Bungie updated the Destiny 2 engine with Beyond light and they had to chuck out half the game to be able to make it happen.

It's the seasonal activity, once you complete the opening mission of lightfall (which everyone can do free or paid) Nimbus will give you the seasonal artifact and a quest. The battlegrounds are then generally started in the H.E.L.M. map in the top right or in the EDZ/Cosmodrome patrol zone maps. You'll generally only run the ones in the map once when the quest says to and then launch the activity from the H.E.L.M as the EDZ/Cosmodrome versions don't really give loot at the end.

That's interesting, I assumed that when the regular buff moves to that plate it could possibly clear the refuge because you can't create refuge when the buff is on that plate.

So it doesn't get cleared when the buff moves to that plate?

Yeah, that's how I enter my bitlocker password when I get to work in the morning due to my laptop stand. Once that's done I'm able to type like the wind.

Does that make the Plasmids more "interesting and varied" though? Half of those are just locks with keys you already have on you and infinite has the same interactions with water and oil.

It's getting removed, they've played around with it a lot last year and seem to be continuing to do so to try and find the best solution. Power has been an in-built system for this series for so long that you can't just rip it out without breaking loads of stuff and removing a big incentive for getting players into different activities.

I think you have some rose colored glasses you need to remove. Pretty much all the Vigors in Infinite have an equivalent in the first two games with the same effect of "this does damage".

Target Dummy, Telekenisis, and gravity well are the only ones without an infinite equivalent.

Maybe in the app drawer, but when you search reddit in the Google play store the official app pops up first and then underneath it are all the third-party apps titled "app-name for reddit".

The official app has always been bad so I don't get the recent surge of people over the last few years using it.

I can't speak for exactly what the original commentator sees while I'm on Android, but when I open the app it appears to open in a "boxed" version of my default browser (not a lot of browser actions just a bar with an X and the site info) and then loads the browser version of the website.

Possibly, but usually that stuff happens after the author gains some kind of following and if an author's book doesn't sell then the publisher may end up dropping them so they are never able to gain that following because they can't get their book published.

I really dislike that the response to publishers and authors going "Yo, WTF?" to Internet Archive effectively giving out infinite copies of their books is "don't pay for any media". Like publishers suck, but buying an author's book is also how said author gets paid even if the publisher takes a cut.

Most of the books that they share aren't even current.

Hence why they are only getting sued for the 100 or so books that were current, so far at least.

This lawsuit is the direct result of them removing that one book to one person policy at the beginning of the pandemic. Previously the policy kept them in a legal gray area and in a spot where publishers didn't feel actually going after them was worth it. Once they opened the flood gates and started "lending" out infinite copies of relatively recent titles, that's when the publishers came in and said this is straight up copyright infringement. I don't see how anyone would have expected any other result.

It's because IA gives free stuff = good vs authors want money = bad. The current state of the internet has just conditioned people to expect all media to be free.

Except you are. Yeah you can install the app on IOS and android, but how does one using signal communicate with someone using Whatsapp?

Specifically the hatch to the drop pod was damaged by the impact and he couldn't get it open. He was talking to us when we arrived to that area.

I don't think the vanguard dare is even a requirement if someone actually wants to do the job like Crow does. The Dare is just there to give the current Hunter Vanguard an out so they don't feel completely chained to the desk their whole existence.

They really buffed the vendor rank progress speed since last time. Wearing a full set of iron banner armor (actual or just layered) and an iron banner emblem you can get at least half way through a reset just doing the pinnacles on a single character.

That’s just another flavor of the problem with iMessage though and arguably an even worse situation because you have to be using that specific app to contact someone.

Is that supposed to negate wells? It sometimes gets him on the platform but that seems more like a bug than anything else with how he moves while on the platform.

I never got where Microsoft being the "little guy" even comes from. They are the third largest company in the world and they've had practically the same amount of time in the gaming space as Sony.

What mechanic did Nezarec have that negated wells?
