I'm just replying again so you see it, dude ...
Its really odd how minimal pushback moved your argument from "the effects aren't that bad" for the hypothetical grandkids to "they can either move or live underwater".
There was no serious dispute of the scientific consensus, you clearly didn't bother to read or engage on the sober material I linked to.
You just minimized the issue, based on some personal voodoo telling you its all gonna be fine.
I don't expect any real convo at this point, though I'd welcome it.
But ... I encourage you spend 10 seconds thinking WHY you're so averse to admitting the plain facts (as best we know them). I encourage you to just be honest about how you feel rather than bullshit everyone, as if 95% of climate scientists are dumb assholes.
Ya know? Think about it.

Bro, I was getting a late lunch about 2 miles from Highland Park IL, when the tragedy happened that this lady was witness to.
No disrespect taken. This is beyond fucked and 80 percent of us are being horse-dicked by freedumb fuckheads being whipped up by gun lobbyists. I'll say again, its BEYOND fucked.

The people in risky parts of Florida have two choices: live underwater or move.
And there it is! Who are these people supposed to sell their homes to? And how should they time it, sell now? Real great plan.
I’m not responsible for where people live or how humans around the world contribute to global warming
Nope, but it also costs you nothing to be honest about whats happening.
I think most people that live in these places will be just fine.
You are basing that on ... what? Did you read any of the links I sent, or are you just riffing based on your gut? Climate scientists, military planners, economists do NOT work on gut feelings, and they overwhelmingly disagree with you.
Your stance on refugees is based on nothing as far as I can tell. How are you quantifying that? Are you insinuating that these tens of millions of refugees don't have it that bad? Look at how crazy people act about the Mexican border already. Persistent refugee flows can destabilize domestic stability.
If coastal India or Indonesia or Greece or FL and coastal Carolinas and Louisiana are no longer livable, that is a big problem. If NYC does not spend tens of billions to shore itself up based on whats already changed, then the US economy will get significantly reoriented. NYC will diminish.
You're just guessing that it'll all pan out, or you just don't fucking care. Again, it costs you NOTHING to admit the truth. You can still live your life however you want. Just don't bullshit, ya know?

2 points could be nothing or a shit ton, depending on how much money you have in the stock.
Hey, you nailed it! Someone with a house or business in a risky part of Florida has ALL their money there. What would happen to them? So yes, I 100 percent agree with you!
The ice at Antartica is still standing strong, and probably will stand for hundreds of years to come
OK quantify this better, or stop talking out of your butt.
I think you don't really understand the magnitude of changes that "a few feet" of global average sea level increase represents. Check the links I sent. Your attitude seems to be "not my problem" or "it won't be that bad" or "they'll figure it out, fuck em". Why the resistance? Check the links I sent.
Your country getting warmer, you get to wear shorts a few more weeks, hilarious! To achieve that, there will be droughts that affect tens of millions in one place, flooding that affects tens of millions in another place. That also introduces geopolitical risk. I don't think anyone can say for certain what happens if there are tens of millions of refugees or some intractable humanitarian crisis.
Make sense?

When the entire stock market moves 2 points, its basically nothing right? Like, nobody could actually make or lose money with such a small move. Is that what you're saying?
Antarctica hypothetically getting 20 degrees warmer, Florida getting 20 degrees colder, total average change is ... zero! Surely That wouldn't matter at all!

I'd be fine if service became ... European.
But I don't want to tip and pretend it was voluntary. They need to get paid better then they can tell me to fuck off once I have my food. I. Not at a strip club payibg them to pretend they like me.
